Storm kicked off their season today against Belmont Belles.
The team was Mia, Neave, Maggie, Ruby, Bella, Freya and Dotty.

The girls were sharp out the blocks with great passing, tackles and goals. Lots of energy, smiles and fun which was great to see. 🙂

Ledbury 4-2 Toros Hurricanes U14’s

We made our top league debut with a away defeat at Ledbury ⚽️

A great performance from the team today who were on the end of a score line that was kind to the hosts.

We battled really well today and on another day could’ve got a more positive result!

⚽️ U8 Astras Girls 💟
🗓️ Sunday 6th September

The new Astras U8s had their first game this morning.
It was a tough game against a strong Ledbury team! They all fought hard right up to the end of the match and never gave up. With all the girls working their socks off and giving 100% effort, they were all still smiling and laughing after a tough first game to the season.

🏆 POTM went to Amelia who played in goal and made some incredible saves and not giving up even when it got tricky.

Thank you to Ledbury for coming over and for a great spirited game 👏🏻

🗓️ Sunday 6th September

First game of the season ⚽️
The team started really bright. Everyone doing their jobs on point and controlled. A quick break from Lucton gained them 1 back before we scored a 3rd before half time only for the ref to rule it out for a foul on the keeper.
HT 2-1 to Toros.
Unfortunately we went sloppy for 10 minutes and Lucton scored 2 identical goals to make it 3-3.

Was this last season all over again?

Today something changed. The team dug in, gave the 10% needed to regain control and managed to go 4-3 up.
A free kick flying off the crossbar but we still carried on and grabbed a 5th 5 minutes from the end.
Hard work paid off with us taking the game 5-3 at full time.

After a brilliant pre-season I was expecting the Novas to start fast and they didn’t disappoint. I feel like the team are definitely getting used to how and where we want them to play!

Brilliant all round performance from the Novas and we are looking forward to next weeks game now 👊🏆

Season 2026/27 is underway against arguably the toughest opposition we could have started with.

A respectable result against a fantastic Belmont side. The Rapids battled from start to finish, created chances and most importantly got to see the level we’re aiming to reach.

Plenty to learn from but couldn’t have asked for any more effort from them today 👊🏻

POTM – Codi 👏🏻 grew into the game brilliantly, listened, battled hard and showed some great positioning 🏆
