Over the past two years, we have been honoured to support so many local schools, charities, community groups and fundraising events through our complimentary golf ticket donation programme.
It has been fantastic to see our tickets used to raise money for worthy causes throughout the local community, and we would like to thank everyone who has reached out to us during that time.
As the golf course has become better utilised and attracts more interest, particularly as we head into the busy summer months, the number of donation requests we receive has increased significantly. We now receive requests through multiple channels including email, Facebook and other social media platforms, and whilst we do our very best to respond to everybody, the sheer volume can make this increasingly difficult. Combined with a limited monthly donation budget, we recognised the need for a fairer, more transparent system that gives every organisation an equal opportunity to benefit from our community support programme.
After reviewing our current process, we believe there is a better way to distribute our donation budget while also involving the wider community.
🎉 Introducing Our Community Support Programme 🎉
When customers book their golf tickets online, they will soon be given the opportunity to cast a free vote for one of the organisations currently featured in our Community Support Programme. It only takes a single click, but it helps support causes that matter to our local community.
At the end of each month:
✅ Every vote will count as an entry into our community draw
✅ The more votes an organisation receives, the greater their chance of being selected
✅ Two organisations will be chosen each month
✅ Each winning organisation will receive 10 complimentary golf tickets.
✅ Winning organisations will then be rotated out for a period of 6 months, allowing other groups the opportunity to benefit
We believe this new system creates a fairer process, gives more organisations the opportunity to take part, and allows our customers to play a direct role in supporting local causes.
The number of tickets available through our donation budget will remain exactly the same we're simply changing how they are distributed to make the process more transparent, accessible and community-driven.
Before we launch this new feature within our online booking system, we need local organisations and fundraisers to join the programme.

❤️ Registered charity or not-for-profit organisation
👵 Care home, care organisation or community support group
⚽ Local sports club or youth organisation
🎗️ Individual fundraising for a recognised charitable cause
🏥 Healthcare, disability support or wellbeing organisation
🤝 Community project or volunteer-led initiative
