See your local area through a different lens this summer. ๐ธ๐ถ
Getting active doesn't always mean taking part in organised sport. Sometimes it's about getting outdoors, meeting new people, learning something new and enjoying the places around us.
We're delighted to be supporting Active Connextions CIC to deliver a series of FREE guided photography walks across all five Tees Valley boroughs this summer.
Whether you're an experienced photographer or simply want to use your smartphone to capture the world around you, these relaxed walks are a great opportunity to:
โ๏ธ Explore your local area
โ๏ธ Be more active outdoors
โ๏ธ Learn new photography skills
โ๏ธ Meet new people
โ๏ธ Improve wellbeing through creativity and connection
The walks are taking place in:
๐ Redcar
๐ Stockton-on-Tees
๐ Middlesbrough
๐ Hartlepool
๐ Darlington
Following on from feedback received, the walk in Middlesbrough will be taking place on Saturday 26th September 11-1.
Projects like this demonstrate how physical activity can take many forms, creating opportunities for people to move more while building confidence, creativity and social connections.
Take a look at the leaflet below for dates and booking information. Additional walks will be advertised over the coming months, so keep an eye on our channels for future opportunities.
If you know someone who would enjoy getting outdoors, being creative and connecting with others, please share this post with your networks to help us reach as many people as possible.
