Awareness πŸ’œπŸ¦‹

The signs that someone is struggling aren’t always obvious.

Sometimes it’s withdrawing from friends. Giving away meaningful belongings. Talking about being a burden. Taking unusual risks. Saying goodbye in ways that feel different. Or even appearing suddenly calm after a period of intense distress.

One sign alone doesn’t necessarily mean someone is suicidal, but changes like these deserve our attention.

Reach out. Ask how they’re really doing. And if you’re worried about su***de, it’s okay to ask directly: β€œAre you thinking about su***de?”

You don’t need to have all the right words. Being willing to notice, listen, and help someone connect with support can matter more than you realize. πŸ’œ

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 988 to reach the Su***de & Crisis Lifeline.

For World Su***de Prevention Day, our entire site is 25% off TODAY ONLY. πŸ’œ www.happinessproject.com

Sometimes the things we believe about su***de can keep people from speaking up or keep us from knowing how to respond.

Knowing the facts matters. Talking about su***de does 𝙣𝙀𝙩 put the idea in someone’s head. Asking, listening, and taking someone seriously can open the door to help and hope.

Let’s keep talking. Let’s keep listening. Let’s keep reminding people they matter.

If you or someone you know is struggling, call or text 𝟡𝟴𝟴.

πŸ¦‹ Today is our last Social Wellbeing Session of the week! πŸ¦‹

If you've been struggling and haven't made it in to see us yet, please consider joining us today. πŸ’™

We know that walking through the door for the first time can feel scary. The anxiety, the uncertainty, the "what ifs" can be overwhelming. But time and time again, our members tell us the same thing:

✨ "I wish I'd come sooner." ✨ "It was the best thing I did." ✨ "I finally realised I wasn't alone."

That first step is often the hardest hurdle to overcome, but once you do, you'll be met with a warm welcome, understanding, and a community that genuinely cares.

You don't need to have the right words. You don't need to explain everything. Just come as you are.

πŸ’™ A friendly face πŸ’™ A listening ear πŸ’™ No judgement πŸ’™ People who understand

If today is the day you've been thinking about reaching out, let it be the day you take that first step. We promise you'll be welcomed with open arms.

You are not alone. We're here, and we'd love to see you today. πŸ¦‹πŸ’œ

Come join us tomorrow. Wild Fields Therapy CIC, will be delivering a 6-week Therapeutic Group to our members. Creating a safe space to listen and be heard, whilst connecting with others. Thanks to Harlow Health Care Trust.

We have been collaboratively working with Wild Fields Therapy for some time, as they had also been offering some one-to-one sessions, with positive feedback from our members who have benefited from these.

If you are currently a member of Butterfly Effect Wellbeing CIO, and would like to participate in this Therapeutic Group, please come along to the bungalow tomorrow at 10:30am πŸ’œπŸ¦‹
