Principle teachers Scott & Ross Simpson have performed all over the world dancing alongside artists such as Robbie Williams, Geri Halliwell and Kylie Minogue, to name but a few on productions such as MTV - Top of the Pop - Smash Hits and The Brits Awards. This enables the school to teach the latest styles and keep its students in the forefront of dance today. Many of the school’s pupils have furthered their training at professional colleges such as Performers, London Studio Centre and Colin’s Performing Arts College, with past and present pupils engaging in professional contracts all over the world. As well as our regular classes - students have the unique opportunity to take workshops with leading choreographers and dancers from all our the world. These include Marty Kudleka (Choreographer for Justin Timberlake), Kenny Wormald (Footloose 2011), Nick Bass (Dancer for Michael Jackson - this is it tour) and many more. Makin' Steps also holds regular productions and class showcases and performs at many events throughout the year, giving it's pupils the perfect platform to showcase the skills they have learnt at the school. Recently events have included "5212 -The Queens Diamond Jubilee Show, Harlow councils "Chairman's Ball" at the Civic Centre and a performance at the Olympic torch relay event.
