🏆 MEMBERS’ PHOTO COMPETITION – WINNER! 📸

Congratulations to our Lady Captain, Debbie Tamblyn-Jones, whose beautiful sunrise photo has been chosen as our winning entry! 🌅⛳️

Taken at 4am from the Halfway House during the Don’t Lose Hope 72-Hole Charity Day Challenge, it captured a special moment as Debbie and Jeeta watched the sun rise over Stoke Rochford. ❤️

Debbie has kindly donated her prize money to the Captain’s Charities. 🙏

🌳 Protecting the Past, Supporting the Future 🌳

You may have noticed some significant tree surgery taking place on one of our veteran trees on the 1st fairway.

While extensive work has been necessary, retaining the standing tree allows it to continue playing an important role in both the character and challenge of the hole — remaining a feature that golfers will still need to consider when plotting their way down the 1st. ⛳️🌳

Veteran trees also provide valuable habitat for birds, bats, insects, fungi and other wildlife, so retaining the standing trunk means it can continue supporting biodiversity for years to come.

Our Greenkeeping Team places biodiversity high on the agenda, balancing the maintenance, safety and playability of our course with protecting the wonderful natural environment that makes Stoke Rochford so special. 🌿🐦🦇

Caring for our course means caring for everything that calls it home. 🌳💚
