Are you interested in coming to see cycling paintings and prints by local artist at his open studio which is centrally located at 49 North Parade, Grantham on 26/27/28th June 10-4pm…..???!!!

"Local artist Paul Letchworth will be opening his art studio which is centrally located at 49 North Parade, Grantham on 26/27/28th June 10-4pm to show his latest cycling paintings.
Paul’s cycling paintings have been exhibited at rouleurlive and Lincoln Grand Prix with his work being collected by cyclists such as Thomas De Gendt. His prize winning painting Lincoln Grand Prix “Up Michaelgate” became the image for the Lincoln Grand Prix 70th year celebration poster. His work has tacked Mark Cavandish’s 35, The peloton and his most recent series of work explores the “Dutch Corner”"

Pop in and see Paul’s work in progress, a gallery of his cycling paintings and a printshop and if you want to cycle there is plenty of room to rack your bikes! Even some refreshments if required!

Witham Wheelers promoted their annual road races on a rolling 12 mile circuit near Grantham in Lincolnshire on Bank holiday Monday, yet again attracting fields of 60 riders from far and wide. Our thanks as ever to all the volunteers without whom these events would not take part, it takes nearly 50 people on the day, AMS marshalls, Red Flag Marshalls, Paramedics, Commisssaires NEG motorcycle marshalls, Sign-on admins, Caterers, Finish Judges, Drivers, Safety Officer and an Organiser to pull it all together.

Also many thanks to PedalPushers of Grantham for their continued support

With temperatures hitting 32C for the afternoon 83 mile GA Bennett race, 2022 winner Will Perrett (DAS Richardsons) outsprinted Clay Davies (Ride Revolution) having been out the front from the start of the race. An 18 man break had consolidated a 2 minute lead half way through with the chasing bunch wilting in the heat. Into the last lap 11 riders were left at the front as Oliver Hurdle (Stolen Goat) broke away only to be chased down by the other 2 but managing to hold on for 3rd. Ex Wheeler and Will’s team mate Peter Cocker was just outside the top 10 in 11th after being at the front of the action for most of the race.

A full report is also given on the British Continental web site

In the morning 3/4 GT Ellingworth Road Race elite mountain biker Jason Boutell ( Wold Top Pactimo) proved too strong, riding away from the 8 man break on the last lap to win by half a minute.

This Saturday's Social ride is 39 miles to Navenby. 8.45 am start at Wyndham Park.
