Everyone at GTC would like to wish Ali all the best as she moves on to pastures new. Ali originally joined the team on a short, fixed term contract to support with our media and marketing, but ended up staying for a bit longer. Thank you for your hard work and don't be a stranger 🙏🎾

At the end of May, GTC hosted its annual wheelchair tournament.
Players came from all over the country the furthest being near Swansea!
Celia, the referee, came up from London and went home with a GTC pin badge.
Three Grantham players played singles and doubles on both the Saturday and Sunday.
Darren, some of you will know as our quiz master, managed to go home winning not only the men’s singles but also the men’s doubles!
Harry and Neil were the other Grantham players who did really well in their matches.
Some players had left before the presentation on the Sunday afternoon but they had a great weekend of tennis too!
This weekend, Darren and Neil will be playing at Loughborough University in another wheelchair tournament – good luck to both of them!

The 14U boys started their summer season on Saturday 16th May with a trip to Tattershall Tennis Club. The team of Freddie, Artie, Matthew, and Albie, fought hard, but ultimately lost by four rubbers to three.

Well done boys, keep up the good work! 🎾

The Mini summer season is well and truly underway! 🎾

On Sunday 19th April our 8U Red division 1 team enjoyed getting their season started in a closely contested match against Dunholme LTA. Our players learnt so much from these matches and are looking forward to many more.

On Saturday 2nd May our 10U Green division 2 team began their LTA National Summer League season with a strong performance against a competitive Sleaford team. All matches went to a third set, done in great spirits with both our players Xander and Benji, showing resilience to come away with their first win.

On the same day, our 8U Red division 2 team travelled to Boston Tennis club to begin their National Summer league season. All players competed in fantastic spirits with it being their first match experience for some. They did very well to overcome any nerves and showed great team support of encouragement and honesty and are all looking forward to more opportunities.

Well done everyone! We're looking forward to seeing how you get on in your next fixtures over the summer.
