Dyce gala was another success with some good swimming done and some important lessons learned throughout. One bit of bling with Adam winning silver in the 50 back.

Highlights
Lenny in his first long course gala did amazing with some good swims and pbs. Hard to pick his best swim as they were all good, but I’ll pick his 100 brs.

Hannah had a good gala with some very good swims and her best swim was her 50 fly but the fc was just as strong.

Emily had a good weekend with some strong swims and new long course pbs with her best swim being her 100 fly.

Abbi had a good weekend with some good swims with her best being her 50 fc as she pbed it long course(with out relays)

Alicia continued her improvement with a few good long course PBS and she will be shocked to see her best swim was her 50 back.

Lastly Adam who had some good swims with some fast swimming. His back being his strongest swim.

Thanks to those people who helped with timing and judging at the gala, important roles to help with this he galas.

Well done to all who took part.

Another great showing by the broch kids with some pbs, learning of race plans and a couple of medals to boost. Bethany won silver for her 100 Brs and gold for 50 back, innes bronze for 100 brs, Oscar silver 50 brs and Ritchie’s won gold for the 100 fly.

Highlights
Siena Scott had a good weekend with some great swims with her highlight being her 100 front with a good pb.
Sienna Roy had a great weekend with some good swims with her highlight being her 100 front with a strong swim from a poor start.
Marleigh had a great weekend with some great swims with his best swim being his 50 back.
Rowan had a good weekend trying some new swims and learning a lot from his swims with his best swim being his 50 front.
Katy McLean had an amazing weekend with some good swims with her best swim being her 100 brs.
Katie Webster had a good weekend with some great swims with her best being her 50 back.
Bethany had a good weekend with some strong swims with her best one being her ever improving 100 brs.
Lucas had another good weekend with some good swims with his best being his 50 back.
Oscar had another good weekend with some strong swims with his best being his 100 front.
Innes had a good weekend with some good swims and his most productive being his 100 fly, good swims.

Ythan meet

Another great display from the young Brochers with some great swims and a few medals to boost. Murray won two golds and the boys relays team of Oscar, Jayden, innes and Murray won gold.

Highlights
Bethany had a busy weekend with a lot of swims but performed good with her highlight being her 50 back.
Lucas had a good few swims with some great improvements in times and technique with his best swim being his 50 back.
Oscar had a good weekend with some great improvement in technique with his best swim being his 100 IM.
Lenny had a good weekend with a fantastic swim in his 50 front with a good display in technique.
Jayden had a busy weekend with some good swim with his best swim his 50 breast in which he also won the hot heat.
Murray had a good weekend with some good swims with his best one being his 50 breat with a strong swim.
Alicia had a good weekend and showed more of her improvements with her highlight being her 50 fc with a good race plan(1-3)
Emily had a good weekend with some good swims throughout with her standout swim her 50 fly.
Innes had a busy weekend with some good swims with his best swim being his 100 IM.
Also not forgetting our swimmers who train with us but compete for other clubs and it’s Jonas, Lucy joy, Morven and Sophie having good swims and a couple of bits of bling to boast.
Overall a great weekend from the kids with good improvement shown.
Thanks also to the parents who helped with time keeping, judging and learning to star, these roles are so important for the running galas for kids, thank you.

UoA gala was a fantastic success to broch swimmers. Lots of pb, long course pbs and a medal to boost. Everyone swam fantastic with improvements thrown throughout.
Adam got a bronze in the last swim of the day the 100 front.

Highlights
Murray had a busy and successful day with some outstanding swims with his best one being his 800 front with good pb from his snags time.

Abbi had a great weekend with some great swims the best being her 50 fc with a strong and pb’d swim.

Bethany had a fantastic swim in her 100 front and recorded a new pb in a fast rate.

Adam had his best weekend of 2026 with his first pbs of the year which included an impressive 100 front.

Emily had a good weekend with 3 good swims with the outstanding one being her first time doing 200 fly in a long course pool.

Alicia had a great Sunday with 2 great swims with the best one being her 200 front with a good pb.

Rylie had a good Sunday with a strong and long course pb in his 50 brs.

Jayden had a good Sunday with a strong swims and his best a strong and well swam 100 fly.

Sebastian also had a good Sunday with strong swims with his highlight being his 100 fly with a strong swim.

A great weekend with second club swims Alexx, Morven, Aston, Sophie, Noah and Lucy joy also swimming with some good swims.

Another great home gala for Broch in fraserburgh. With an impressive 24 swimmers and everyone was amazing.

Lenny had a good day with some strong swims with a show on how strong his breaststroke has come on.
Lucas also had a good day with strong swims with his best swim his 100 front.
Ritchie had an amazing weekend with his highlight swim his 100 fly which he swam for the first time in a gala.

Also thanks to everyone who helped with running a great meet whether it was time keeper judges. Thanks to the clubs who attended and swam really well.

Another year of SNAGs saw 3 members of the Broch take part and did extremely well. They did fantastically well with some good strong swims and gained valuable experience.
Adam had 5 swims and swam some of fastest swims this year. He swam the 50 back, breast and fly and 100 front and back. His best swim being his 100 front.
Sebastian had 2 swims and again had some great swims. He swam the 50 fly and 50 back with his best swim being his 50 fly in which he just missed a pb.
Murray in his first ever SNAG in which he swam 4 impressive swims and seemed to get better as the week went on. He had 200, 400 and 800 front and 200 back. His best swim being his 800 front in which he pb his 400 in splits as well as his 14 second pb.
It was a great week with 3 swimmers who 2nd club with us also attending with Sophie, Alexx and Morven swimming well in the days.
It was a great week with some fantastic company from fellow north of Aberdeenshire teams and great to be working together, hopefully the start of working together.
Lastly well done to Lenny who on Tuesday night assisted with the running of the competition.
Well done all kids and clubs! Know to start again for next year😉

Well done to the 3 boys who qualified and will represent Broch at SNAGs from Saturday to Wednesday at ASV. Shown here sporting there SNAGs t-shirts.

Adam will compete at 50 free, 50 back, 50 fly, 100 back and 100 free.
Murray will compete at 200 front, 200 back, 400 front and 800 front
Sebastian will compete at 50 fly and 50 back.

Well done also to second club members Alexx, Morven and Sophie who have also qualified.

Hard work over the last year has paid off!
