Our half term camps are underway and a HUGE thank you and well done to all our brilliant players and coaches who have been battling the heat yesterday and today.

Despite the soaring temperatures, the courts have been full of energy, tennis and lots of fun. We’ve been making sure everyone stays cool with plenty of water breaks, sprinklers, water fights and, of course all-important ice lollies...

A massive thank you to our coaching team for keeping spirits high and making sure everyone is safe, active and smiling in the sunshine.

NEW AT GO TENNIS...HITTING SESSIONS

We're delighted to welcome Ben Hall to the team.

Ben is an LTA Level 3 competition player and Level 1 coach and is now offering hitting sessions at Grayshott.

So, what's the difference between a coaching and a hitting session?

🎾 Coaching = instruction, technique and development
🎾 Hitting = quality practice, rallying and match-style play

Hitting sessions are a great way to get extra court time, prepare for matches and build consistency between coaching sessions.

If you are looking for a fun way to get active, get outdoors and try something new...then you should try Cardio Tennis 🎾

What is Cardio Tennis?
Cardio Tennis is a fun, sociable fitness class with a tennis twist. It combines music, movement and hitting loads of tennis balls for a brilliant full-body workout. You don’t need to be a tennis player or super fit, it’s suitable for all levels and all about getting active, burning calories and having fun on court.

We run the following cardio sessions:
🎾 Grayshott - Wednesdays 10.30-11.30
🎾 Fernhurst – Friday 09.00-10.00
🎾 Saturdays + many more adult tennis sessions including at our other venues in Headley and Churt

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and joined us on court at the Fernhurst Revels yesterday.

What a fantastic day for the local community! We had so many children on court throughout the day that we didn’t quite manage to capture everyone in photos but every session was absolutely buzzing and fully packed!

We also had a great turnout for the adults, with plenty of competition and conversations happening all day long. Congratulations to Chris Ratcliffe, who won our Fastest Serve Competition with an impressive 76mph!

More than anything, it was wonderful to see the community come together, different sports, different ages and so many local people connecting. We spoke to so many people throughout the day that by the end our voices were almost gone!

We’ve had lots of enquiries about a new adult beginner tennis session, so if you would like to give tennis a try, please do get in touch. We also run FREE junior tennis sessions on Saturdays, so email us to find out more and get involved.

Thanks again everyone we enjoyed every minute of it.

With our final camp at Fernhurst underway, we wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who joined us this week. The energy, the effort, the fun, as hectic as camps are we loved it all.

Brilliant players, great atmosphere, and lots of happy (and tired!) faces by the end.

Huge thank you to our coaches and our wonderful clubs - Grayshott, Fernhurst and Headley tennis clubs!

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back on court and don’t forget, new term bookings will be launching next week so keep an eye out. Plus still spaces for next weeks camps at Grayshott and Fernhurst.

Easter camps are underway! A big part of our warm ups are done without a racket. By learning ball control drills it helps focus, co-ordination and control. Plus it helps develop timing, tracking and feel for the ball. Helping to build foundations that makes better players in the long run! It's not as simple as it looks!
