Fabulous game of rugby played in the greatest of spirits but in the worst of conditions!

The Stags were down to 11 men towards the end of the second half and conceded two tries as a result, meaning came out on top.

No doubt the weather played its part this afternoon and was a great leveller, but it was a thoroughly enjoyable game for those supporters who dared to brave the conditions!

We are at home again next Saturday and already have an eye on the weather forecast!

We can’t promise the weather will be as good as last weekend but we can promise a fun afternoon of rugby!

The Stags are back in action at 3pm, when we welcome to The Ruins.

Grab a brolly, grab a mate and join us for the afternoon.

It’s good to be back!

What an afternoon at The Ruins. A great performance from The Stags in their first proper run out of the season.

Debuts for several players - some home grown talent and some new to the club. Also the first time out for our fab new strip courtesy of our sponsors Midhurst Engineering
- the future is bright for sure!

Thank you to our friends from Barns Green Rugby Club for a game played in good spirits.

Same time same place next Saturday 👊

Last Sunday was a BIG day for our Under 12s - their first League Match as a Junior team!

On the pitch we gathered pace in the second half and were ahead at the final whistle - score less important than the fantastic morning provided for this up and coming team and their Crawley Rugby Football Club opposition.

Pulling on your match shirt, using the changing rooms, donning shirt and tie afterwards, eating a delicious match tea with your new friends. These were all firsts last Sunday and we think this is where memories are made - off the pitch as much as on it!

Minis Festivals - so much fun!

Our Minis section headed off en masse to Chichester’s annual ‘Doneby2’ festival on Sunday and what a day they had!

With some fantastic results across all age groups, our teams had a fabulous morning of rugby, a fair bit of fun in the sunshine, and even the odd ice cream!

These photos tell the story of our fabulous U10s team enjoying everything the morning had to offer!

Thanks for having us Chichester Rugby Club

Festival Time!

We are looking forward to welcoming clubs from across the county to The Ruins tomorrow for our annual Minis Festival.

If you are visiting us, please arrive early and park in Midhurst’s North Street car park, just a short walk from the club.

The weather looks as though it will be kind to us and there will be plenty of refreshments available throughout the morning - what could be better!

You can find the match schedules on the QR Code above, which will be on display on the morning. A link is also in our bio.

Our wonderful volunteers are already busy marking pitches, setting the ground up and baking cakes - as always it’s all hands to the deck and any more offers of help from the home team are most welcome!
