Very excited to be getting Afan Mountain Lodge back! Loved this place and its resident locals. Here’s to more good time in the future.

We are immensely proud to announce that we have officially purchased Afan Mountain Lodge.

Our ambition is to revitalise and reopen the hotel, bar, and restaurant — bringing our own style while celebrating everything that makes this place so special.

A huge thank you to Pencymmoedd Community Fund, Development Bank of Wales and Neath Port Talbot Council for their ongoing support in helping make this incredible project possible.

We’re so excited to begin this new chapter. Join us for the journey.

A new Bike Park, in Farncombe, Surrey is among the ideas being discussed for a former golf course site in Broadwater Park.

It’s early days but it a bike park or skate facility was developed at Broadwater Park, would you expect to use it, and what would you want it to include?

Bad News: YT Shuts Its Doors

The cult brand can’t find any investors, is laying off almost all employees, and might disappear from the scene for the time being. Even the downhill team is said to be racing on other bikes soon. What’s left? Memories of “Good Times” – and a shocked mountain bike community.

Great news!

Important Announcement

A change of heart ❤️

A few weeks ago we announced that we were selling up. The amount of interest we have had in regard to the sale of the property has been huge but the amount of people offering to help us to stay has been even greater.

As a lot of you know, especially those close to us. We have faced so many obstacles since starting out in 2017. We have survived Covid and it’s impact, having to buy the building or the risk of losing the businesses, building maintenance costs, trail closures, and a lot of unexpected costs due to certain people “ripping us off”. We won’t go into detail in regard to this just yet! The biggest challenge of all we have faced as a family has been far greater, between us we have faced many health battles. This being the reason we decided to sell. To live our lives.

But Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre is our life … we are so passionate about it. We live and breathe it.

So … we have decided … WE ARE STAYING … the only way is up from here (and if we can get an “up-lift” from you all as loyal customers). If you can continue to support us while we get back on our feet. We are pretty sure that we can come out on top.
