Sunday Snooker Competition Round-Up

We had another great turnout for Sunday’s snooker competition, with 14 players taking part in a great day of competitive snooker.

It was great to welcome four new players to the competition – Chris Glasby, Ben Glasby, Martin Cure, and John Coughlan. We hope you all enjoyed the day and look forward to seeing you back again soon.

After a number of closely contested matches, Mike Wright and Suraj battled their way through to the final. Mike produced an excellent performance to claim the title with a 3-1 victory.

A special mention also goes to Jamie Wright, who made the highest break of the day with an excellent 67. Congratulations on a superb achievement!

Congratulations to Mike Wright on a well-deserved win, and well played to Suraj Thapa for reaching the final.

A big thank you to everyone who entered and helped make it another enjoyable competition. We look forward to seeing you all again at the next one!

Handicap Competition Delivers Another Great Morning of Snooker

We enjoyed another excellent morning of snooker at the club today, with a strong field of 17 players taking part in our latest Handicap Competition.

The handicap format once again proved its worth, producing several closely contested matches throughout the morning and giving everyone a genuine chance of progressing through the draw. The standard of play was high, with plenty of competitive frames and a great atmosphere around the club.

It was particularly pleasing to welcome a couple of newcomers to the competition. We hope they enjoyed the experience and look forward to seeing them back at future events. It’s always great to see new faces getting involved and becoming part of our growing snooker community.

After a series of hard-fought matches, the final saw Mike Wright take on Lewis Homersham in what proved to be a thrilling contest. Both players battled all the way, with the match going the full distance before Mike edged out Lewis 3-2 to claim the title.

Congratulations to Mike on a well-deserved victory, and commiserations to Lewis after a fantastic run to the final.

A big thank you goes to everyone who entered and helped make the competition another successful and enjoyable event. We look forward to seeing everyone again at the next handicap tournament.
