Every fit20 member has this emotional journey at least once a week.

Before session:
“I’m tired. I can’t be bothered.”

During session:
“Whose idea was this?”

After session:
“…actually I feel brilliant.”

And somehow, every single week, you come back stronger.

Funny how that works. 😅

Consistency is Key

4 sessions = 1 month of strength.

The simple maths of consistency.

You don't need to be perfect. Just consistent.

20 minutes, once a week.

Less than 2 hours a month to transform your health.

Compare that to hours in traditional gyms for minimal results.

The difference isn't effort; it's the system.

A booked weekly appointment removes guesswork.

Automatic. Easy. Effective. Stop chasing quick fixes.

Start building a habit that lasts. 📅

🏌️ Think fit20 is just for getting stronger? Think again.

Whether you're teeing off on the fairway, chasing a personal best on the bike, or just trying to keep up on the tennis court – fit20 can help.

Take golf for example.

A better golf game isn't just about practising your swing. It's about:
✅ Core strength – for stability and control
✅ Leg power – for driving distance
✅ Rotational strength – for smooth, injury-free rotation
✅ Endurance – for staying strong on the back nine

Our 20-minute weekly sessions are designed to build exactly that – functional strength that translates directly to the sports you love.

"Since starting fit20, my drives are longer, my back doesn't ache after 18 holes, and I'm not exhausted walking the course." – David, fit20 member and keen golfer

🎥 Watch the video above to see how fit20 can level up your golf game (and any other sport you enjoy).

Not a golfer? That's fine. The same principles apply to running, cycling, swimming, tennis, skiing – anything that demands strength, power and endurance.

💚 Stronger for the sports you love. Try a free session.

Myth: Strength training is bad for your joints.

Fact: Weakness is bad for your joints.

Muscles act as shock absorbers.

When weak, joints, ligaments, and cartilage take the full force.

fit20's slow, controlled movements strengthen the support system around the joint, alleviating pressure and improving stability.

Members with arthritis report significant relief.

We don't just train muscles; we build the protective armour your joints need to move freely. 🦵

🏆 AND THE WINNER IS... 🏆

HUGE congratulations to Lyndon Bent – our fit20 Spring Performance Challenge Winner! 🎉

Over 5 weeks this spring, our members pushed themselves in a challenge designed to test skill, consistency, and performance.

And it was CLOSE. So close, in fact, that we had four people tied for 3rd place!

But climbing the leaderboard week after week – delivering quality reps, top scores, and showing up every single time – one person emerged as the champion.

Lyndon Bent. 🥇

💪 From quality reps to top scores and showing up every single week – this is what fit20 progress is all about.

Enjoy your well-deserved certificate and champion status, Lyndon. You absolutely smashed it.

And a huge well done to everyone who took part. That competitive energy? We loved it.

Bring on the next challenge... 👀

Myth: More gym time = more results.

Fact: Better stimulus = more results.

It's a hard habit to break -thinking seven workouts are seven times better.

But high-intensity training requires a full week to adapt.

Training again before repair completes interferes with results.

It's not lazy to rest; it's strategic.

One intense session. Six days of building.

That's maximum results. 📖

🏆 She did it. 60 miles. 3 days. For an incredible cause.

You may remember Debbie from recent posts – the fit20 Torquay member who trained with us to take on the Incredible Hike for Children's Hospice South West.

Well, this past weekend, she walked every single mile. 60 miles along the South West Coast Path. In three days.

At 72 years young.

And she says her fit20 training made all the difference.

💬 "I've been going to weekly fit20 sessions since August 2024 and have been really impressed with the results. My upper body strength has increased massively and my legs are really strong now. So much so that when training for the Incredible Hike I was able to go straight into some pretty long training walks and not suffer too many after effects."

"I'm a very busy lady, so only having to attend for 20 minutes per week – and no need to shower afterwards – has been a bonus!"

Debbie, we are so proud of you.

Not just for the miles. For the determination. For the heart. For showing all of us what's possible when you build strength for life, not just for the gym.

💚 There's still time to support her fundraiser. Link below.

Step 1: Grumpy.

Step 2: Focused.

Step 3: Zen.

The fit20 emotional cycle.

We don't judge your resting grump face.

We just train it until it turns into a smile.

Or at least a less-grumpy face.
