A great night of netball for both teams! 🏐

Team 1 vs Histon Netball Club
A tough game against a strong Histon side. After a slow start, we adapted well with some lovely attacking play, great shooting and brilliant tips and interceptions in defence. Plenty to take away and work on before we meet again in the league! πŸ’ͺ

Team 2 vs 4β€” 24–32
A close one! Some lovely play down the court and great shooting from Jean, Sharon & Kim. The defence girls battled right to the end!

🏐❀️ Our Walking Netballers have arrived! ❀️🏐

What a fantastic first outing for our Haddenham Walking Netball team!

Today was their very first game together and what better way to start than by taking on a tournament! There were definitely a few nerves beforehand, but once they stepped onto court they did themselves (and us!) incredibly proud. ❀️
They came joint second, another an amazing achievement for a brand-new team playing together for the first time!

Most importantly, they had a brilliant time, supported each other, had plenty of laughs and showed exactly what Walking Netball is all about. 🏐❀️

A huge well done to every single one of you, we’re so proud of you and have a feeling this is just the beginning! πŸ₯°

T1 Won 33–22! πŸ₯³ After taking a quarter to find our flow, the team stepped it up with brilliant attacking play, shooting and some πŸ”₯ defence!

T2 had a great first game too! πŸ’ͺ Although the score didn’t go our way, there were loads of positives β€” great movement, teamwork, new combinations and plenty of fight against an experienced side! πŸ‘

Huge well done to everyone, especially those playing their first match ❀️

With games cancelled because of the heat, our Walking Netball squad opened their doors to some of our Senior players and we had an absolute blast!
A lovely summer evening, plenty of giggles, a touch of competitiveness πŸ˜‰ and two squads that merged together beautifully.
