They are currently members of the Eastern Counties League Premier Division and play at The Decom Stadium within the Unwin Sports Ground. Ely City was established in 1885 by members of Ely St. Etheldreda Football and Cricket Club and are the oldest senior football club in Cambridgeshire.

🎭 Full time at the Demcom in a thriller..

🎬 The Demcom is the place to be for goals it seems this season.. as the Robins hold on to win 4-3. Although dominating, City were made to pay for some sloppiness but thanks to a Stephen Pereira inspired performance- we take home the points.

⚽️ Goals from Pereira, Sam Townshend and one from Charlie Root put Ely 3-2 up at the break, before Townshend putting some light on the scoreline. Dereham scored late on for a squeaky end to the game!

🗣️ My team has a few big money players in hoping to be getting me consistent points. With Bruno and haaland hoping to get me the most

Q2; how’d you pick your side? Any thought or insights.. or whacked the randomiser? Are you a pre game checker to pick your team?
🗣️ I pick my side with players who consistently got points last year and are also popular by other people.

Q3; So who’s the busy prick in the group that does it religiously and fancies their chances of football management to how serious they take it?
🗣️ Charlie root is a little nerd 🤓 and religiously study’s the game. And Alfie thinks he is good at it but has nothing better to do in his day other than to scroll on fpl

Q4; Who is the dark horse and the surprise package this year in that league??
🗣️ It’s got to be someone like fin or tarps who keeps it quiet about their fpl and surprisingly do well
