We were back in action last weekend at rounds 3&4 of the British National Series up in
Glasgow. It was the first time back since the World Champs in 2023 and the squad were keen to get involved.
A slightly depleted squad of six riders due to various external factors didn’t hold us back
from nailing some scores on the board, maintaining our second position in the National Teams League.
Holly went to work in 11 girls, dominating the class all weekend with two clean sheets, and leads the points standings. The pocket rocket was also out on the cruiser and battled the boys to make her first A final, finishing 6th on Saturday.
Ed had a weekend of two halves with a few unlucky line choices, he had to settle for a 5th in the B final on day one but had the rub of the green on day two and came back strong with his best result, taking 4th in the A main.
Big Bish was all over it in the 13 girls and made her way to two A finals after some amazing pack battles across the weekend. Day ones main didn’t quite go to plan as she got caught up on the first straight and went down. Back to it on day two though and she sliced her way to a fine 5th place finish.
Our boy Connor was all over it in Masters and he was on fire with first straights, breezing into the mains. The class is full of top fuel dragsters and the competition is tough. Connor got out but got swamped in the turns and had to battle mid pack on his way to a 5th and 6th across the weekends racing.
I was back in action in the 50-54 cruiser class with no major goals but to have a good time
and stay on the bike. Surprised myself by being near the pace and got close to a place in the
main with a 5th in the semi. In day ones main I simply missed the gate and had to go to work
for some points, picking up 4th for a 12th overall.
Last up was Annie in the Champ Women, and as ever, she goes all in. Consistent laps saw her through to the finals on both days, picking up a fantastic 4th on Saturday and rounding out the final on Sunday in 8th.

After what seemed like a long dark winter, we were back in the game and hit the first rounds of the British National BMX Series with a full squad in attendance.

Out on track, the squad put in a big shift with a full sweep of A finals across the weekend and slotted the team into second place in the National Teams League.

Holly went to work in 11 girls, dominating the class all weekend with two clean sheets. Little Bish made light work of the competition and leads the points standings as she looks to retain her national champion’s title.

In the 11 boys, Rex got his shred on and took two A final finishes. The first day he got caught out by a temperamental gate and had to battle in the pack for 7th but come the second day he was all systems go and duked it out at the front of the pack to secure a solid 2nd place and currently sits in 3rd overall.

Into the 12s, and our new boy Ed struggled to find his rhythm on day one. He was battling for position but got bullied and had to settle for a 4th in the B final. That gave him the fire he needed, and he was all business on day two with a strong A final finish where he got involved in the mix to claim a solid 6th.

Jack got stuck into the 30-39 cruisers and had his snap on lock as he led out the mains across the weekend. On day one he got a little wide in turn one and then the shuffle started seeing him slip back to 4th. On day two he held on until the third straight, but the BMX boys had too much rhythm, yet he held on for a podium spot and secured 3rd.

Up into the teenage classes now and Poppy was back in with the girls to get her season underway. The 13 girls is one of the most even fields of any class and our shredder was right
in the middle of the action. Always outgunned, but never out skilled she worked her way through the pack in nearly every lap. Day one was an unlucky one, but a B final win was a little sweetener. Day two and she took her spot in the final 8. Through the lap she worked the pack and got so close to a podium with a fine 4th place finish.

Luke had a weekend off his freestyle duties and joined us back on the racetrack for the first time in two years!! Naturally one of the most skilful riders in the country, he made it look
effortless until the semi-finals when he flipped the gate and had to style it round at the front of the B final. Come day two and he was back in the main but got t-boned in turn one and rolled it home in 8th. We hope to have him back in the team tent later the year…. pleeeeease!!

No easy classes for our squad and Wallis had his work cut out in the 19-29 class. One of the team OGs was on the pace, but just not in the mix and missed out on the semis after a
couple of brutal quarter finals.

Our boy Connor was all over it in the Masters class. It gets dirty in the 30s, but the boy was on fire with first straights like a dragster he breezed into the mains, nearly going back-to-back wins, just slipping back on day one after a mistake on the second straight saw him
settle for third, but day two was almost a “perfect” lap and he picked up his first EVER national BMX win.

Last up was Annie in the Championship Women. Our Royston Rocket has been taking it to the finals in the opening rounds of the UEC European Cup series, so we knew she was on form for the opening rounds of the national series. Super consistent while holding her own amongst the fastest women on the planet is no easy task, but a pair of 6ths on her tally put her well in the top eight after the opening rounds.

We’ll be back in action at Glasgow for the next stop of the series, and the TM Jools will be back on track, not just chatting on the sidelines.

Massive thanks to all the brands at Ison-Distribution - Halo Wheels, Gusset Components, Tioga Bmx, and HT-components as well as Stay Strong Brand and XLR8 Bike School for
their support of the team and keeping us rolling out on track 👊

Annalise kicked off the weekend at round 3 of the European Cup in Tiel, Holland.
Strong gates and smooth laps saw her through to the main.
Out the gate she got a little pinched, but slotted into 4th in the first turn, and picked up a podium slot after capitalising on a crash at the front.
Looking forward to Round 4 tomorrow 👊

Annalise "stone cold" Cadman-Carpenter staring down the camera on the gate, in the Junior Womens final of round 2 of the European Cup series.

Annie was all business over in Italy after crashing out in yesterday's semi, and pulled it all together today to put herself on the gate amongst the best young ladies in Europe.

Top job Annie, the whole team are super proud of you 🍕

📢JULIAN ALLEN
I'm Jools, the Team Manager and responsible for making sure that the riders are signed on, the bikes and kit are on point for racing, and the pits are set up so all the squad have to do is do the business

Im still racing in grand vets and 50-54 cruiser and plan to do as many turnbars, in as many laps as you can squeeze into a season.

Really looking forward to heading off to Brisbane worlds and living this crazy dream for another season👊

📢JACK HUDSON
Our cruiser specialist, JACK is all in with all things big wheeled. His 4x background makes the Sub 4 24 rims the obvious choice and he shows their quality in every lap.

Known for riding hard on all bikes, Jack is a true lover of bike sports and brings a fantastic vibe to the pits.

We're stoked to have Jack with us for a full season in 30-39 cruiser this year 🙏

📢CONNOR HUDSON
He's not dirty, but hes turning 30!!

Our four time 4x national champ and first straight specialist, Connor has all the wattage to rip out holeshots and is wrapping up his winter prep ready for an assault on the Masters class.

His speciality is looking "buff as f**k" and you'll see him not using a trolley to carry all the gazebos in the pits 👊

📢JOSH WALLIS
One of our longest standing team members is back again for another year in black and red.

A one day specialist, Wallis brings an easy style to the track and can turn on the pace amongst the top boys in 19-29.

Always a pleasure to have in the pits and his dad will be ready for a chat with you....whoever you are, about whatever you fancy....you'll never leave 🤣
