Welcome to Kings Acre Golf Course and Academy, a hidden gem, located only six miles from Edinburgh's bustling city centre, twelve miles from Edinburgh International Airport and two minutes from the city bypass. The driveway up to the clubhouse meanders it's way through the golf course, surrounding you with spectacular views of what lies ahead. This stunning, challenging but more importantly, enjoyable par 70 golf course and state of the art Golf Academy are already regarded among the finest in Scotland, the Home of Golf. Our aim, to ensure each and every visitor to Kings Acre has a day to remember and we look forward to extending you a very warm welcome time and time again.

🍽️ WE’RE HIRING – RESTAURANT SUPERVISOR

We’re looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our clubhouse team at Kings Acre Golf Course, Lasswade ⛳

This is a part-time or full-time position, ideal for someone with strong restaurant/hospitality experience who is confident supervising a team and delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities include:
• Supervising the day-to-day running of the restaurant
• Supporting and supervising waiting staff
• Overseeing food and drink service
• Maintaining high standards of service and presentation
• Supporting golf days, functions, weddings and events
• Working closely with management and our kitchen team

What we’re looking for:
⭐ Previous restaurant/hospitality experience is essential
⭐ Previous supervisory experience preferred
⭐ Must be 18 or over
⭐ Friendly, professional and customer-focused
⭐ Reliable, organised and confident taking responsibility for a shift
⭐ Weekend availability is essential

Hours & Pay 🕐
Mainly daytime hours with occasional evening work for functions and events.
Part-time or full-time opportunities available.
💷 Rate of pay dependent on age and previous experience.

Our Women's 9-Hole Texas Scramble took place on 2nd August in support of Breast Cancer Now. The sun was shining, and it was lovely to see so many ladies enjoying a great day of golf while supporting such an important cause 🏌🏼‍♀️✨

A huge thank you to all the local businesses and individuals who donated prizes for the raffle and silent auction. Thanks to everyone's generosity, just over £1,000 was raised for Breast Cancer Now! 💕
