In April 2016 we opened a new improved layout of our 18 hole course by incorporating two of the best holes from the old Lothianburn Golf Course. Swanston Academy was opened in September 2018 which incorporates the Driving Range, which has 6 covered bays and 16 grass/Huxley mat bays. The 9 hole par 3 Templar Course and the practice chipping and putting areas are also part of the Academy. Scott Gourlay one of the UK’s top club fitters and builders is also based at Swanston, his SGGT studios will be able to fit and build any club or clubs you are looking for. We also have 3 professional golfers on site available for coaching. We are situated at the foot of the Pentland Hills, the course boasts wonderful views across Edinburgh, Fife and beyond. The Club has a beautiful, modern family friendly spacious clubhouse which is open to non members too, serving delicious food and a variety of beers and wines.
