πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ Thank You to Our Run Leaders πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ

On Saturday, we got together with some of our fantastic volunteer Run Leaders for a morning at Ushaw Parkrun, followed by refreshments and a chance to catch up.

Our Run Leaders are at the heart of our Couch to 5K programmes, supporting and encouraging participants every step of the way. From helping people take their very first strides towards becoming more active to crossing the finish line of their first parkrun, their enthusiasm, commitment and encouragement make a real difference.

A huge thank you to all of our Run Leaders for the time, energy and dedication you give to helping others achieve their goals and build confidence through running.

We're incredibly grateful for everything you do. πŸ’™

Our Durham Wellbeing Walk takes place every Wednesday at 10:15am, meeting outside Durham Gala Theatre.

The walk is a fantastic way to get active, enjoy some fresh air, meet new people, and explore the beautiful city of Durham at a relaxed and friendly pace.

Here are a few photos from our recent walks, kindly captured by our volunteer Kevin Creaghan. πŸ“Έ

Whether you're looking to improve your wellbeing, increase your activity levels, or simply enjoy a walk in good company, we'd love to welcome you along.

The rain just about stayed away in the east of the county for one of our annual Volunteer Celebration Events yesterday in Seaham!

A fantastic morning was enjoyed by everyone who was able to join us. It was a great opportunity to come together and recognise the incredible contribution our volunteers make to local communities throughout the year.

A huge thank you once again to all our volunteers for everything you do. Your time, dedication and support are truly appreciated, and we hope you all enjoyed the event. We'd also like to extend our thanks to Bells Fish & Chips, Seaham for their fantastic hospitality and helping to make the morning so enjoyable.

If you took any photos, we'd love to see them – please share your pictures in the comments below! πŸ“ΈπŸ˜Š
