We look forward to competing against many old friends, but also welcome Consett Blackfyne, Hilda Park, Jarrow FC and Easington Lane Reserves to the league after their promotions.

2026/27…. Not long!!

Although social media has been quiet, behind the scenes we have been FAR from quiet! As the lads prepare to return to pre season training next week, we have loads of news and projects to let you know about…

🪏 the fantastic volunteers have worked hard on the pitch & ground and it’s looking great!

🟡 our new AWAY strip has been agreed and ordered and it looks fantastic!!

🗓️ the friendly campaign has been formalised and will be released soon

👬 the league has confirmed our opponents for the coming season (we will release this tonight!)

👀 new signings agreed and will be announced over the coming weeks when we return to training

💰 new fundraising incentives planned

👏 old and new sponsors starting to be finalised too!

In just 3 weeks from the seasons end already looking in good condition. Helped by treatment from Trilogy Turf and the much needed rain. Now for the warmth over the next few days to really get it growing.

Finally the football club committee and volunteers select a player who they viewed as their player of the season and the recipient of the John Purves Memorial Trophy.

John was previously a long serving player and secretary of Coxhoe Athletic FC who sadly passed away and the trophy is awarded in his memory.

This years winner was chosen for his very hard work and endeavour on the pitch, his tough tackling and high energy performances. In the latter part of the campaign he skippered the team and led by example.

A unanimous choice.

Each season the team manager selects a player who he feels has demonstrated the hard work, skill and ability to make him the stand out player of the season.

This year Rob Bowron has chosen Harry Kerins.

Well done Harry, richly deserved, almost a clean sweep.

Next up we have special recognition for a player coach who has contributed an enormous amount of his time and passed on much of his knowledge to develop the younger players.
His experience and guidance is invaluable and we are lucky to have him in our setup.

With the 2025/26 season at it's end, its an opportunity to recognise those who have made a contribution and commitment to the team over the course of the past 9 months.
First off three players who have racked up the most appearances everyone making turning out on 26 occasions.
