Today we’re bringing the Words Do Hurt car to Spennymoor Football Club! 💚🚗

We’re attending a big networking day, hoping to meet more businesses willing to back our book and help bring our anti-bullying programme into more classrooms. 📚

Looking back through the photos reminds us just how many families this little car has touched. Behind every name and every conversation is a reason to keep going.

We really hope this project can make a lasting difference to children across the UK and beyond helping them understand the power of their words, choose kindness and follow their dreams.

IMAGINE IF A WHOLE GENERATION UNDERSTOOD THE POWER OF THEIR WORDS… 💚

We going to stop more families from loosing there loved ones 💚

Children who bully aren’t necessarily bad people. Sometimes, they may not understand just how much their words and actions can hurt.

But imagine if we could help them understand that kind words have power too. That they can comfort, encourage and help someone feel less alone.

Imagine a generation of children encouraged to follow their dreams, whether that’s becoming an astronaut, a ballet dancer or even a racing driver. 🏎️

Imagine them learning through the true story of a boy who was once very sad, but who never gave up on his dreams.

The book is based on Catherine and Thomas’s life designed to educate children about bullying, inspire them to be kind.

Our goal is to get these books and our four-week programme into as many classrooms as fast as possible.

We also don’t want anyone to feel they need to keep donating.

We also understand that reaching schools on a larger scale will need support from businesses too.

So please, if you can, share this with your boss, colleagues or anyone who might be interested in sponsoring a classroom or school. Your share could help us reach the right person. 🙏

JUST £5 COULD HELP US REACH ANOTHER CLASSROOM! 📚💚

What if your £5, combined with donations from others, could help put anti-bullying books into the hands of children? 🥹

After experiencing bullying themselves, Thomas and his sister Catherine created Words Do Hurt to help children understand the impact of bullying and the importance of kindness.

We want to take that message into even more primary schools through our four-week anti-bullying programme.

Local businesses are helping to fund classroom packs, but lots of our supporters have asked how they can help too. 💚

📚 HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

You can donate as little as £5 through our GoFundMe link in website.

For every £200, we can provide a complete classroom pack to a school. Each pack includes:

📖 30 copies of the book for kids to keep
📝 Four weeks of teacher resources
📦 Postage to the school
🎤 Video message from Catherine and Thomas.

Our first target is £200. Once we reach it, we’ll increase the target to £400 for the next classroom, then £600, and so on.

You don’t need to donate a huge amount to make a difference. Every donation brings us a step closer to reaching another group of children. 💚

And that’s not all! For every 10 classroom packs we provide, we’ll also donate 30 copies of the book to a children’s hospital ward. 🏥💗

We are creating a supporters web page where we will add everyone’s name with updates on progress. (Unless you wish to remain anonymous)

Thomas races with the Words Do Hurt message on his car, helping us spread awareness around the country. Now, we want to take that message directly into classrooms, where it could make a real difference.

What a busy day yesterday! 💚

First day of the school holidays, and while most teenagers would be enjoying a well-earned break, Thomas spent his day visiting local businesses, knocking on doors and having conversations about his new Words Do Hurt anti-bullying school project. 📚

The wind and rain certainly didn’t stop him! 🌧️💪 he did it all himself.

Getting out there, speaking to people and doing everything he can to help get this important message into schools.

💚 Anti-Bullying Week is fast approaching! 💚

We haven’t got long to go until Anti-Bullying Week in November, and we’re working hard to get as many school packs out as possible!

A special thank you to Falcon Computers for supporting a school close to their hearts. 💚 Your continued support means so much to us!

We’ve got a very busy few weeks ahead, but we’re making steady progress, and it’s fantastic to see businesses getting behind our Words Do Hurt campaign.

Thomas is spending today along with the rest of the week handing leaflets out to local companies.

As a family we are incredibly proud of how hard he is working to support both this amazing campaign and to secure funding for his 2027 season.
