No, son. 💚

One day, you’ll be on the other side of that fence behind the wheel of a GT car yourself. 🏁

You deserve that opportunity, and as you always tell other kids:

“Never let anyone ruin your dreams.”

That message is just as important for you to remember as it is for everyone you inspire.

A huge thank you to everyone supporting this incredible journey. We’ve got loads of photos and videos to share from this trip, including some brilliant ones with our supporters’ banner, but I wanted to get this one out first.

🥹 There’s something emotional about standing somewhere you’ve watched a thousand times on TV, knowing you finally made it to watch in person. 🥹

We certainly never planned for this but today we ended up at one of the most famous F1 circuits on the calendar SPA Francachamps - This feels surreal 🇧🇪🏎️

THIS IS FOR YOU GUYS 💚
Words do hurt made it to an F1 Track!

What started as a small idea on the side of a car somehow has turned into a beacon of hope for hundreds of people struggling across the world and it’s now travelling across Europe helping share an incredibly important message.

We’ve driven this little message across countries, met incredible people along the way, and now the message has reached one of the most iconic F1 circuits in the world this is something we are incredibly proud to share! 🌍

If this isn’t a sign to never give up on your dreams then I don’t know what is… we hope you are inspired and our goal is to make sure every name behind words do hurt feels seen and heard! We care about you! 💚

Thank you to everyone who has helped us get here… We actually made it to an F1 TRACK - it’s hard to believe this is actually real… Legends such as Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris, Max Verstappen have raced this very circuit 🇧🇪🥹

😔 We had every reason to turn around, but we chose to keep going because we’re doing this carrying the names of people who are struggling 💚

Yesterday was probably the closest we’ve come to thinking this journey might actually be over.

For a moment we were just sat there in a foreign country, thousands of miles from home not knowing anyone and wondering how on earth we were going to fix the car and get it back on the road 🚗

After everything we’ve already been through getting the Words Do Hurt car from the UK to Germany absolute nightmare the bottom arm broke. 😭

We could’ve given up.
We could’ve turned around.
But then we looked at the car and every single name that has been written onto it.

You guys trusted us to carry your name.
We couldn’t turn around. We were determined to make it to Germany not just for us but for every single person whose name is on this car. 💚

Thankfully, Thomas’ partner Kei Trucks UK has connections out here which led us to The Crown Performance and we honestly can’t thank them enough.

They were incredibly friendly and super helpful sourcing us parts and even loaning us the tools we needed so we could repair the car and get back on the road.

When you’re stranded in another country that kind of kindness means more than people realise. So from all of us and you guys at home we owe them a huge THANK YOU. ❤️

The journey might not have gone to plan, but we didn’t give up and at around 1am this morning… we finally made it to Germany. 🇩🇪💚

A huge thank you to everyone following our journey back home, supporting us, sending messages and to everyone who has kindly donated towards our trip.

It genuinely means so much to us. 🥹

Everyone we’ve met out here has been so friendly and after everything it took to get here, we honestly cannot wait to finally see the Nürburgring tomorrow.

Our thoughts are with the families and loved ones of Jasmine, who sadly left us earlier this week. 💚

You will never be forgotten. Rest in peace. 🕊️

Your names will now travel with us, helping to amplify the message behind and reminding people just how serious the consequences of bullying can be.

Jasmine will forever be part of our journey as we continue doing everything we can to raise awareness, start conversations and hopefully prevent more families from experiencing such heartbreaking loss.

Never in a million years did I think my first time ever leaving the UK would be like this…. 🥹💚⛴️

What a day.

After getting off the ferry in France, yesterday we travelled through France, Belgium and Luxembourg before finally arriving in Germany. 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇧🇪🇱🇺🇩🇪

It’s been a seriously long one but honestly but I couldn’t be more grateful. We’ve travelled hundreds of miles, met some incredible people along the way and made memories that I know I’ll never forget.

5 countries travelled and seeing the Words Do Hurt car make it all the way across Europe that’s something truly special incredibly proud 🥹

This journey is for you guys and everyone out there who feels they have no voice and now Words Do Hurt has officially made it to Germany. 🇩🇪💚

Yesterday absolutely wiped me out we didn’t arrive until 1am and with limited signal I couldn’t give you guys updates…

Today though we have lots planned including a toboggan ride before we finally head to the Nürburgring.

A little road trip update from Germany… 🇩🇪

Yesterday we had the privilege of meeting up with our long-term friend Quentin Vé, who has been a huge supporter of Thomas and our family for many years.

Last year, Quentin even helped fund one of Thomas’s car test days, which meant an incredible amount to us.

As soon as he found out about our Nürburgring road trip, he made sure we could meet up in person at a service station along our route.

Turning a name on a phone screen into a real handshake 🤝 and a face-to-face conversation means so much to us as a family.

But it gets even better…

When Quentin found out we had a little car trouble, which originally sounded like a wheel bearing starting to fail, he rushed off to his local motor factors and picked up a replacement bearing for us.

And, in typical Quentin fashion, he absolutely refused to take any payment for it! 😂

Thank you, Quentin. We are incredibly grateful. 💚🙏

Further investigation suggests the bearing should get us home it’s just a little noisy. However, we’ve now discovered the suspension ball joint on the same side is also failing.

Rather annoying considering it’s on a brand-new suspension arm fitted last week! 🤦‍♂️😂

Top tip: never buy the budget range! 😂

And this is where our amazing UK supporters step in… 🇬🇧🤝🇩🇪

A huge shout-out to Kell Trucks, one of our newest sponsors, who contacted friends in Germany and managed to help locate a replacement suspension arm which is being delivered just five minutes from the Nürburgring! 🏁

Fortunately, we had the sense to bring some tools with us. 🔧😂

Other than our little mechanical adventure, the car drove absolutely fantastic.

We’ve had people waving, taking photos and coming over to look at the car everywhere we’ve been.

But most importantly…

💚 The Words Do Hurt message has now travelled across Europe.

That’s what this road trip was really about.

A little 2011 Fiesta, a huge message and an incredible group of people helping us keep the wheels turning quite literally this time! 😂💚

Unfortunately, not an update I wanted to share we have received some more heartbreaking news. 💔

Yesterday, someone reached out to thank us for everything we are doing raising awareness and asked if we could add the names of her two brothers to the car, after they sadly lost their lives to su***de as a consequence of bullying. 🕊️

Just think about that… two brothers. 🥺

One family now has to live with the devastating consequences of bullying and words that can never be taken back. And as difficult as that message was to receive it reminded us exactly why Words Do Hurt exists.

This isn’t just a race car.

Every name we write represents someone. Someone who has been affected by bullying, someone who sadly isn’t here anymore or someone simply showing their support for our message.

This is why we are so determined to keep pushing and why we want to take that message further. For those who felt they had no voice we will keep speaking!

In just 2 days, we’re setting off from the UK and taking the Words Do Hurt car on a 28h round trip all the way to the Nürburgring in Germany. 🇬🇧🇩🇪

It’s a huge journey, but it gives us the opportunity to put this message in front of even more people and show that this campaign is making a huge impact.

But we need YOU to stand by us.
