We Have a parents WhatsApp group for our Sunday Development Programme usually every Saturday we confirm if we are definitely on the next day and any other information of anything happening goes on we keep messages to a minimum and parents can send us a DM from there for any information needed etc. If you want added into the parents group feel free to DM the page with your name and child's name and age and contact number.

6-9-26 Development Sundays

Our Back to School week free Sunday was a great Success and our new beginner 5/6 year old group was a Success with our Senior first team Coach Terry Fitzpatrick with help from his son Bill looking after the group the kids where in great hands. And with u18s and u19s Academy teams Coaches Dillon and Mark looking after the 7/8/9 year olds in the first session of the day it was a great turnout with over 50 in the first hour and perfect weather for it

The second session we Done a warm up with a mix of mini Games into bigger size games showing the kids the size of the pitch might change but the principles stay the same throughout

We look forward to Next Sunday as we go into The Autumn part of our Programme ⚽️💙

We would like to pass on our Condolences to our Coach Thomas or (Berry) as everyone calls him that couldn't be there today with the passing of his mother last night our thoughts and prayers to Thomas and his Family at this tough time 🙏💙

⚽️💙🙌 FREE THIS SUNDAY 🙌💙⚽️

As a thank you for your continued support all year round and great attendance at our camps - THIS SUNDAY WE ARE FREE OF CHARGE‼️

AND MORE ⬇️

Each child will receive a free entry pass (with a paying adult) for our next First Team game vs Linfield on Saturday 12th September. 1800KO

We are also to give away 8 places for flag bearer duties vs Linfield and play in a mini half-time game on Stangmore.

‼️To be eligible for selection simply wear a Dungannon Swifts training/match day replica kit this Sunday‼️

We hope to do this a few times in the Season and give different kids a match day experience so follow the page so you don’t miss the next one!

From Development Sundays to First Team Appearance

Congratulations Jacob Painter who has become the first ever player to have come to our pathway from the Dungannon Swifts Fc Junior Player Development Programme to the Dungannon Swifts FC First Team.

Jacob - a 2009 captain of our Academy U18 team and regular at U20s came of the bench to make his first senior appearance on Tuesday night in the Mid Ulster Cup.

He came to us one Sunday morning many years ago looking some extra contact time as a young player looking to cement his place in the DUY teams and has continued to work hard and forced his way into the Dungannon Swifts Academy teams.

With his hard work and professionalism finally paying off this week with his appearance for the First and captaincy of the U18s squad this year.

From this Sunday on We are going to take on 5 year olds. Sunday is going to be free for everyone so why not come down give us a try out and get to play on stangmore park home of Dungannon Swifts FC

Hi Everyone there will be no Sunday football on this week at the Dungannon Swifts Fc Junior Player Development Programme as there is a Girls tournament on the pitch being held by our partner club for girls football the Mid Ulster Ladies

We will be back to Normal from Next Sunday 6th September on Where we will be holding a FREE Sunday as a thank you for your continued Support all year

We know it can be a stressful week after kitting the kids out for school uniforms PE kits and everything else the club have allowed us to run for free next week when we get back up and at it. Information for next sunday will be posted soon

We have some Dungannon Swifts fc Junior training kits available from age 6 to 14 year olds in varius sizes

The kit is £40 for t-shirt shorts and a pair of the Dungannon Swifts FC grip socks you can add a pair of the blue sleeves covers for a extra £5 for sliding shin guards in also.

This is not essential for our training programme but we would like to see as many in swifts colours as possible and we are going to give out places to do flag bearers on big match days on stangmore park for kids that have the swifts gear to wave the players out onto the pitch.

The Excitement in the Players coming out the Players entrance with the new LED lighting hallway and onto the pitch with the flag bearers like the first team on a saturday

We already look forward to our next World Cup Experiance day when we hold our next Camp 🙌⚽️

What a great day to have a World cup on stangmore park we had some great football on show throughout the sessions

In the kids age 6/7 Age group we had Holland winning the tournament

In the Junior age 8/9 we had France winning the tournament

And in the Afternoon older kids age we had Spain come from a slow start to eventually winning the tournament

Thank you for your support and turning out without your suppprt we couldnt keep opportunities to play on stangmore going we look forward to seeing the next Swifts player of the future come through the ranks
