MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS JACK!

A massive congratulations to Jack Allan on securing his first professional contract with Celtic!

Jack worked closely with Joe during his time off over the summer, putting in the work on his individual game and making sure he returned to pre-season in unbelievable condition.

The performances, standards and levels Jack has shown since returning have been through the roof, and that hard work has now been rewarded with his first professional contract. What an achievement!

We are incredibly proud to see Jack take this next step and absolutely delighted to have played our part in helping this young man move closer to achieving his dream.

We look forward to welcoming Jack back again next summer and, in the meantime, we can’t wait to see what the rest of the season brings for this young man.

ANOTHER JAM-PACKED NIGHT AT THE JOE CARDLE ACADEMY ⚽️🙌🏼

We’re thoroughly proud of what we offer here at the academy, and a huge part of that is down to the fantastic coaching team we have around us.

Our coaches are ready and prepared to deliver bespoke 1:1 sessions, tailored specifically to each individual player and the areas of their game they need to develop.

Whether it’s technical ability, movement, decision-making, awareness, finishing, passing, fitness or confidence, we take the time to understand what each player needs and build the session around them.

With the experience, knowledge and playing backgrounds within our coaching team, we’re able to offer players much more than simply a football session.

Our goal is simple — to help every player improve, develop and reach their full potential, while creating an environment where they enjoy learning, developing and playing football.

Tuesday nights in full flow!

Another fully booked Tuesday in our 1:1 programme, alongside two fantastic group sessions with our 2017–2019 age groups.

The young players worked incredibly hard throughout the hour with Joe Cardle and Leo King, with tonight’s sessions focusing on passing reactions, shooting and possession.

Two great groups who continue to develop, learn and improve every single week. The progress has been fantastic to see!

COACH ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are delighted to welcome our newest coach Ryan Kelly to the Joe Cardle Academy team.

Ryan joins us with a wealth of experience, having come through the ranks at Hearts Academy before progressing to become a young professional at the Edinburgh club.

Now working his way into the professional game, Ryan recently joined Hill of Beath and has made a very strong start to the season in the Lowland League, gaining valuable experience at senior level.

Ryan is also currently studying towards his HNC in Sports Coaching & Development, and the perfect opportunity came along for him to join the Joe Cardle Academy and work with the younger generation through our 1:1 programme and group sessions.

Ryan has already been a huge hit during his first week, and we’re looking forward to watching him grow and develop as a coach, learning from our UEFA A Licensed coach, Joe Cardle.

We’re delighted to have you on board, Ryan. We have no doubt you’ll be a fantastic asset to the Joe Cardle Academy and a great role model for the young players we work with.

THE YOUNG TEAM!

It’s always great to start our week off with our youngest groups — the 2021s–2018s! 🙌

Tonight’s session focused on turning, passing, attacking and defending 1v1 duels, with plenty of energy and enthusiasm throughout.

It’s an absolute pleasure to work with this bunch every week. They’re always willing to learn, work hard and, if they’ve listened well… we’ll always finish with a TOP BIN CHALLENGE!

Another strong night to finish off another fantastic week at the Joe Cardle Academy!

A great mix of a full 1:1 programme alongside two advanced groups, with plenty of quality work, detail and intensity across all our sessions.

It was great to welcome Joseph Currie from Dunfermline Athletic U15s for his first session with Leo last night, as well as two St Johnstone players — first-team player Kristen Taplin and U15 striker Jayden Webster — both getting their fine-tuning and detailed individual work in ahead of their weekend fixtures.

Our two advanced groups have been an absolute credit over the last few weeks. The boys and girls have been working extremely hard on all the technical aspects within our reaction passing, intensity within our possession-based drills, and the improvement has been fantastic to see.

A huge well done to everyone who has trained with us this week — another week of hard work, development and commitment!

We hope you all have a lovely weekend, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back again next week.

We’d like to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS to our Day 1 player, Angus Green, on securing a contract with Dunfermline Athletic U17s!

Angus has been with us from the very beginning of the Joe Cardle Academy, and it’s been an absolute pleasure watching his journey over the years.

We’ve seen a young boy develop into a fantastic young man, working closely with him as he progressed from Bayside, to Hutchie Vale, to Kelty Hearts, and now onto pro youth level with Dunfermline Athletic — a fantastic and well-deserved achievement.

Angus is the perfect example of what we strive to produce at the Joe Cardle Academy. He’s always been willing to work hard, play with a smile on his face and, most importantly, push himself to reach the highest level possible.

It’s been a joy to watch Angus flourish both on and off the pitch, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything he has achieved so far.

Keep up the fantastic work Angus!

Days like today make it all worthwhile.

Rangers’ latest recruit James Penrice made a huge impact on his first start today, scoring and assisting in a fantastic 5-1 victory over St Mirren.

James, an ex-teammate of Head Coach Joe Cardle, has been a regular at our off-season sessions over the years. Not only a great friend of Joe’s, but a player and person we have loved watching develop and grow into the footballer he is today.

From working with him in the off-season to seeing him make his mark at Rangers today, moments like this make us incredibly proud of what we do at the academy.

Great work Penners. We’re all so incredibly proud of you. ⚽️🙌🏼
