I get it. Over time bolts come loose but please tell your kids to let us know via this page or to the school or scouts/football coaches so we can repair things as quickly as possible to avoid accidents.
Obviously someone has decided to bend this as much as they can - why?
It’s your facility, not the council’s! The council don’t pay for the upkeep of this - it’s the sports hub who have to raise money and grants to keep it in good condition and is run by volunteers. We’ve gone round to fix it today within an hour if it being made aware to us but it wasn’t an easy fix because of the buckling. This is a temporary repair to avoid any kids running into a metal strip .
However although that was annoying the next post is disgusting. Fed up with some of the dog owners in this village.

Anyone missing a sofa?

Anyone missing a sofa?

Ok so the signs say no dogs, bikes, etc but we didn’t think we’d need to say ‘No sofas’ (armchairs, furniture, etc) 😜
Thanks to the lads who helped me move it off the MUGA and if you ‘own’ the sofa then just reply to this post to let us know how it got there and where it needs to go back to!🤔

Hi,
We've been asked by SportScotland, (a major funder of £75K for the sports area) to ask for feedback from people that have been using the multi-sports area we put in by the school. Here is the link to their survey -
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CDDNTQZ
You will need to select Cairneyhill Community Sports Hub from the drop down to start.
Not going to lie - the survey is a bit clunky as in they've tried to do something that covers a load of different facilities so the questions may be a bit off in relation to the sports area.
There are also quite a lot of questions, (that require an answer) which are not really appropriate for a good number of users i.e. the primary school kids and younger kids sports groups in particular. There are options tp select 'rather not say', etc so if you wish to answer this on behalf of your kids then please do so.
Thanks

We are working on an issue with the MUGA lights. Due to a power cut earlier this week the timer unit that controls the button at the entrance to put the lights on has malfunctioned.
Will update as soon as it is resolved.
Any group bookings will be unaffected as we put the lights on remotely.
Thanks

If you have thoughts about next Spring/Summer programme for the Hub do let us know here.

Please don't go onto the Muga until we've checked it for damage and given the ok.

FREEZING WEATHER!
Just a reminder that we do not support or recommend activity on the sports area, (MUGA) when it is below 0 degrees as the surface will be slippy and the likelihood of injury is higher.
Although the facility will not be closed i.e. gates will not be locked, anyone using it does so at their own risk.
Cheers

Just a reminder that the new sports area is not a dog training or exercise area. It is used by the school kids during the school day and groups, clubs and residents at evenings and weekends.
The signs at each entrance state ‘No Animals’.
The gala field is right beside the facility!! 🙄
