Wow! What a semi final in the men's open competition between Portobello and Stirling. Neck and neck throughout the full game with Portobello eventually winning the tie 14-13 thanks to a Joe Mathieson winner with 2secs remaining 🤽‍♂️

After the match, we caught up with the youngest player in the pool, Alex Hurd from Portobello! Alex is still eligible to play in the U17s category so it's great to see him performing with the senior team at such a young age 👏

We caught up with Charlotte Smith from Kirkintilloch & Kilsyth after she helped take her side through to the U19 Female final this afternoon. Scoring an impressive 6 goals, Charlotte's side came out 18-15 winners vs Dunfermline after being tied at 13-13 going into the final period.

Congratulations to our very own Richie Metcalfe who has just been awarded the East District President Plate for 2026. Awarded to him for his 30+ year role in volunteering with the District, Region and Club and for motivating and encouraging youngsters into the sport!
