👋 Thank You, Tony - and Welcome, Rebecca!

The Kilham Hall Management Committee would like to extend a huge thank you to Tony Gibbins, who is stepping down from the Committee as the Cantley with Branton Parish Council representative due to his many other community commitments.

Tony has been an invaluable member of the team, generously giving his time, knowledge and support to help Kilham Hall thrive. From assisting with solar panel and electricity matters to attending community events and supporting the hall and its user groups, his contribution has made a real difference.

While we are sorry to see Tony leave the Committee, we are delighted that he will continue his work in the community as Councillor Gibbins, championing local causes and supporting residents across the parish.
On behalf of everyone at Kilham Hall, thank you, Tony, for your dedication, commitment and hard work. We wish you all the very best and look forward to continuing to work with you in your councillor role.

At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Rebecca Boyd to the Kilham Hall Management Committee as the new Cantley with Branton Parish Council representative.

Rebecca lives in the village and serves as a Parish Councillor for Cantley with Branton Parish Council. We are delighted to have her join the team and look forward to working with her to support Kilham Hall and our local community.

Please join us in saying thank you to Tony and welcome to Rebecca! 🎉

🦵💬 Do you (or someone you care about) live with knee or hip pain that affects daily life?

A new research study from Cardiff University is exploring ways to better support people aged 65+ to live well with joint pain - and you could help shape the future of care.

The TIPTOE Research Study is testing a supportive programme designed to build confidence, knowledge, and practical skills for managing joint pain independently. Participants will be randomly placed into one of two groups:

✔️ A personalised support programme with coaching sessions and helpful resources
✔️ Or continuing with usual NHS care (with resources provided after the study)

💡 Why take part?

⭐️Access to expert-led support
⭐️Contribute to improving care for others
⭐️Help researchers understand what really works

📍 Sessions can be attended in clinic or online, and you’re welcome to bring a friend or family member along.

We would like to politely remind all visitors to Kilham Hall park that the toilets in the main hall are not for public use.

The hall is hired by businesses and private groups who pay to use the facilities. Recently, some classes have been disrupted by park users entering the hall to access the toilets. Unfortunately, this is unfair to those who have booked and are using the space.

We do understand that this can be inconvenient, however we kindly ask that you respect the hall users and their activities.

Please bear this in mind when visiting the park, as there are no public toilet facilities available on site.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
