Golf Club Operations Assistant
Permanent position, Minimum 30 hours - full time contract
Competitive salary dependant on experience.
Shift work - Typical working days:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday & Sundays. This may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays

Are you passionate about all things Golf? If so we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking to expand our experienced team at Bawtry Golf club. The position will be assisting running the ‘day to day’ of the golf club.
Typical duties include:
Front of house, liaising with management, members and guests
Overseeing the care and maintenance of the golf club ensuring high standards, presentation & cleanliness
Managing the Proshop from sales to stock.
Assisting bar and catering needs for the golf club
Work well with the current team at the golf club

About you
Ideally you are a keen golfer, with experience and knowledge in the industry. You pride yourself on being confident, friendly and approachable. You are reliable, punctual and can manage your time well to complete all tasks. If this sounds like you, then please get in touch.

We are pleased to announce we opened our doors for the first time in 6 weeks today!!

Obviously we are all aware we aren’t living in normal times and therefore we have made the following decisions on this basis to help protect our members, guests, staff & Golf Club.

Wednesday 13th May & Thursday 14th May will be open Exclusively to members
From Friday 15th May we will be open to both members and paying guests

EVERYONE must call us on 01302 711409 to pre book a Tee Time!!

We will not be using Intelligent golf for TEE time bookings until further notice

Tee Times will run from 8.00am – 5.00pm
The course will close promptly at 7.00pm so everyone must have departed before this time

We will be allowing tee time bookings as follows
o Individuals playing golf on their own
o Two-balls comprising of individuals from different households
o At our discretion, members of the same household playing in
two, three or four-balls

The Driving Range & Club House will remain closed until Further notice
Social distancing rules must be strictly adhered to at all times.

Following the government’s statement on 20 March 2020, we have had to temporarily close Bawtry Golf Club.
We find ourselves in unprecedented territory but we must all follow the advice of the Government and World Health Organisation to help prevent the spread of the virus.
If you have a booking with us in the next four weeks, we will be contacting you directly.

The best way to contact us regarding your booking is to email our sister company [email protected] as I am sure you can appreciate, the phones are exceptionally busy at the moment. If you feel your query is urgent we are still taking calls Monday to Sunday 9.00am – 5.00pm on 01226 711123
We will continue to communicate using email and social media so please make sure you are following us.
In the meantime, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests and members for being so understanding. We have been overwhelmed with messages of support, all of which are very much appreciated by the whole team.
We hope to welcome you back to Bawtry Golf Club in the not too distant future and extend our Yorkshire hospitality once again.

Bawtry Golf Club is still open until we receive further guidance...
