# DonFaster 5K – July Race Round-Up 🏃☀️

A huge **THANK YOU** to everyone who made tonight's **DonFaster 5K** such a fantastic event – whether you ran, volunteered, cheered from the sidelines or supported us through sponsorship. It was brilliant to welcome you all!

It may have been a hot July evening, but that certainly didn't stop the amazing performances out on the course. Whether you were using the race as part of your training, celebrating a new PB, or taking on your very first DonFaster 5K, you should all be incredibly proud.

The course record survived another race, with the warm conditions making it a tough challenge. But judging by the outstanding times posted tonight, we're sure it's only a matter of time before it's under serious threat when the conditions are a little kinder!

Congratulations to all of tonight's winners in both the overall podium and age categories – your names are listed below.

📅 **Our next DonFaster 5K takes place on Friday 2nd October.** We'll be sharing more details very soon, so keep an eye on our social media and watch this space!

Whether you're planning your first DonFaster or returning for another crack at the course, we'd love to see you on the start line in October.

Dear Runner,

We're delighted that so many of you want to take part in the DonFaster 5K on Friday.

However, we would like to remind everyone that the race transfer window closed at 9:00am on 1st July. While we appreciate that last-minute changes sometimes arise, we are no longer able to accept transfer requests.

Processing late transfers creates a significant amount of additional work behind the scenes for our Race Committee, all of whom are volunteers working hard to deliver a safe and successful event.

Thank you for respecting the transfer deadline, for your understanding, and for your continued support of our club race.

We look forward to seeing everyone on Friday.

Hello all, we hope you're all well!

We're just over a week out from the July meet of DonFaster 5K and the transfer window is now open should you need to use it.

Please use this space to offer up your place / find someone offering theirs.

IMPORTANT: ensure that you are looking at "All comments" in the comments section. People have missed comments from one another in the past. We would recommend you doing your initial communication in the open so others (including us) can monitor which ticket is going to who.

An email has gone out about this, further info will follow next week. The website is rammed with most of the info you need for the race itself (if we've missed anything, please let us know!)

Start times will be published there next ~ Thursday.
