The 2026/27 season starts tonight.

Our U11–12 Academy,U13–15 Girls Academy, and Men's First Team are back at Retford Oaks as we begin another year of futsal.

Technical work. Tactical understanding. Competitive games. And plenty of touches on the ball.

Our dates are confirmed and three of the four leagues are now full.

Only two spaces remain in the U9/10 League which will start in October. SHFA Affiliated futsal leagues.
• Games roughly every four weeks
• 40-minute matches
• Monday evenings
• Dinnington High School

We’re back! 💚
The 2026/27 season starts this week.

Our Thursday groups are first back on court on Thurs3 September, before the full SYB weekly timetable resumes from next week.

It has been a brilliant summer, but now the work towards another season of training, league fixtures and tournaments begins.

There are still limited opportunities for new players to join us.

Tuesdays | Outwood Academy Portland
• U9–12 Girls Academy | 6–7pm
• U9–11 Development | 7–8pm

Wednesdays | Dinnington High School
• U8–10 Academy | 6–7pm
• U13–15 Boys Academy | 7–8pm

Thursdays | Retford Oaks
• U11–12 Academy | 6–7pm
• U13–15 Girls Academy | 7–8pm

Players train weekly and have opportunities to represent SYB in competitive futsal throughout the season.

A brilliant first season awaits, with fixtures against some fantastic futsal clubs from across Yorkshire, Lancashire and the wider North of England.

Plenty of exciting ties, new venues and tough tests ahead as we take the next step in the SYB journey.

Just 2 spaces left in the Dinnington U9/10 JFS league! ⚽🔥
A brilliant response to the new 26/27 Junior Futsal Series, with the U11/12 Development, U11/12 Mid–High and U13/14 leagues now FULL!

The JFS is designed to give teams regular competitive futsal alongside their football season, with:
• Monday evening fixtures at Dinnington High School
• Leagues starting from September into early October
• Games roughly every 4 weeks
• 40-minute matches
• Further friendlies and tournaments available throughout the season

If you manage an U9 or U10 side and want to introduce your players to futsal, this is a great opportunity to get involved from the start.

Why add futsal to your football?
More touches. More decisions. More 1v1s. Less time and space.

Our weekly sessions give young players repeated opportunities to work on receiving, passing, ball mastery, finishing, movement and decision-making in tight areas.

It is not about replacing football. It is another environment for players to learn, solve problems and become more comfortable on the ball.

JUNIOR FUTSAL SERIES 2026/27 | FINAL TEAM SPACES ⚽
The leagues are taking shape and we still have a small number of places available for grassroots teams wanting to add competitive futsal to their 2026/27 programme.

The Junior Futsal Series gives teams the opportunity to experience regular competitive futsal alongside their outdoor football, with plenty of touches, 1v1 situations, quick decisions and opportunities for players to develop in tight spaces.
