Last week, our theme was a core focussed flow - here’s an insight into some of the movements we covered, and a few of my favourite core-focused exercises!

1. Single leg stretch
2. Double leg stretch
3. Criss cross
4. The humble plank
5. Roll back
6. Elevated single leg stretch
7. High kneeling side bends

Save for your next home workout!

Please note, all of these have modifications if they feel too tough, so don’t be put off if you have been interested in trying Pilates as I would steadily work up to most of these within a mixed ability class.

And, if you are interested in having a go at Pilates, I currently have space at 7pm on Monday and 5pm next Wednesday 🫶🏼✨

Happy June 1st!! New month, new classes and new opportunities 🫶🏼✨

And… it’s stretch and lengthen week 🧘🏼‍♀️

We haven’t done a class like this for AGES, so I thought it was about time we had a class focusing on slowing down a bit, and enjoying a wind down and reset.

Think slow, controlled movements, focusing on connecting to our postural muscles, as well as mobility and stretching. We may even finish with a guided relaxation 🤭🫶🏼✨

Things I can promise you’ll get in my classes💫

A LOT of thought and planning goes into my classes. I genuinely get excited about teaching new flows and movements, creating new playlists to match the vibe and seasons, and spending time on the mat with you all.

I do take care and time trying to create an environment and atmosphere that allows you to reach flow state, where you feel relaxed and comfortable, but of course challenge yourselves too!

Slowly turning into my favourite piece of equipment is the humble mini ball ✨

A mini ball flow for this week’s theme, including a few new movements that we haven’t done in class before! Don’t say I don’t try and keep things interesting and different for you..🤭

Wednesday’s class is full and there is ONE space left for Friday morning. A few spaces available for next Monday and Wednesday too currently. Go get yourself that spot on the mat ###

A new month and new week marks the first week of being solely based at The Space 🥹🫶🏼✨

All classes this week are currently fully booked, but there are still some spaces left for next week’s classes. This week’s classes will be a fully body flow, so if you fancy a Pilates flow but haven’t booked your space, do add yourself to the waitlist to be notified of any cancellations first!!

A few random things I get excited about as your Pilates teacher 🫶🏼✨

I love that I get to share space with such an incredible bunch of you week in, week out. Yes it’s all about Pilates, but the snippets in between are what makes it all so much more fun, and more of an experience rather than just a workout.

By the way, I hate using the word client?! Because that feels so formal and just doesn’t feel right. So if anyone has a better suggestion, let me know 🤣🫶🏼✨

How is it Monday again already?!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend enjoying the sunshine!

This week in class, our focus will be upper body and core work - with a focus on the upper abdominal area.

There is just one space left for this evening’s 6pm class and a couple left at 7pm. Spaces unusually also available for Friday morning! Get your space booked before the bank holiday where next Monday’s classes won’t be running.

This is also my last week at Wickham Skeith before making the move to The Space! I’m sad to be relocating as it closes a chapter at the village hall, but so excited to be based solely from The Space.
