🚨Why Some Players Keep Moving Forward.

One of the hardest lessons in youth football is learning that effort is not equal.

Some players will do the minimum.

Some players will do exactly what the coach asks.

And some players will consistently do more.

Not because they’re the most talented.

Not because they’re forced to.

But because their standards are different.

The biggest difference between young players isn’t always ability.

It’s how much they care about improving.

How often they practise when nobody is watching.

How willing they are to listen, learn, and accept coaching.

How determined they are to respond after mistakes and setbacks.

The biggest mistake coaches and parents make is expecting every player to have the same hunger.

They don’t.

Some want to play football.

Some want to become footballers.

The players who progress furthest are usually the ones whose standards stay high long after the session ends.

Well done to PRL attendee Alex Wiles, who was recently recognised at the Larbert High School Awards for his achievements in football, his contribution to sports leadership, and for helping his team raise funds in support of the coach’s youngest son, who has muscular dystrophy.

Alex’s commitment both on and off the pitch is a fantastic example of the values we encourage at PRL. His willingness to support others, show leadership, and contribute positively to his community is every bit as important as his footballing development.

Congratulations, Alex. A thoroughly deserved recognition, and everyone at PRL Coaching is proud of your achievement. 👏⚽️

Well done to PRL 2017 attendee Harry Bell! 👏

Harry has enjoyed an excellent spell of form, earning Man of the Match in consecutive weeks as well as being recognised with his team’s Player of the Month award.

These achievements are a reflection of Harry’s hard work, commitment, and positive attitude both in training and on matchdays. To be recognised consistently by coaches and teammates shows the impact he is having on his team’s performances.

Everyone at PRL Coaching is delighted to see Harry’s development being rewarded.

Delighted for PRL 2013 attendees Noah Conroy and Kyle Maxwell, who have recently been crowned treble winners.

Both boys have enjoyed fantastic seasons and have played an important role in the success of their Condorrat team throughout the campaign.

This is a tremendous achievement and a reward for the hard work, dedication and commitment they have shown all season.

Noah and Kyle have been, and continue to be, a pleasure to coach at PRL. They have also recently represented PRL in a number of fixtures against professional academies, where both boys performed excellently and represented themselves, their Condorrat team and PRL in a highly positive manner.

Congratulations to both boys on an outstanding season and a well-deserved treble-winning achievement. 👏⚽🏆🏆🏆

PRL 2015 attendee Robert Lowe with a finish of the highest quality for his Grangemouth side.

Showing excellent technique, Robert produced a delightful first touch to bring a floated corner under control before calmly dispatching a controlled volley into the net with real composure.

A goal that combined awareness, technique and confidence in equal measure.

Well done Robert⚽️👍👏
