We are very proud of our 2 Juniors who attended Shoto Budo's Junior National course at sportscotland National Centre Inverclyde in Largs.
Both did amazing and they were awarded
Kirstin received her 1st Blue Stripe
And
Megan received her Junior Black Belt.

Fantastic to see recognition for someone who has dedicated his life to development of Martial Arts and all those who have trained with and trained under him. Congratulations Bill Haggerty 👏

A dedicated Inverclyde martial artist has received a unique honorary title for his services to the discipline.

Billy Haggarty, 74, is a fifth Mejin and tenth Dan and still actively trains and leads Inverclyde shoto budo clubs across the area.

At a residential training course at the SportScotland National Training Centre in Largs, Billy was awarded the honorary title of 'Hanshi'.
