Cumbernauld Swimming Club

Cumbernauld Swimming Club Cumbernauld Swimming Club is a competitive club founded in 1964. We are based in the Tryst Sports Centre and currently has in excess of 130 members.

Cumbernauld Swimming Club was founded in 1964 with training getting held in Cumbernauld High School. The club transferred to the Tryst Sports Centre in 1973 and immediately blossomed from a small club of 50 members to over 100 members. The club is now well established as one of the top swimming clubs in Scotland and operates currently has over 130 swimmers divided into seven squads who train up to eight of nine sessions per week.

A massive round of applause to our Mini League team who gave it their all in today’s highly competitive Mini League B Final ! Every single swimmer put in an amazing effort, and we couldn’t be prouder of your determination and team spirit. The noise was absolutely incredible.

A big thank you and well done to all the other teams who raced this morning in Dumfries – the atmosphere was fantastic. Well done to Dumfries on their well-earned win!

Congratulations to all our swimmers at Scottish Schools Final some great performances all round. Outstanding racing saw Phoebe McLachlan pick up a Bronze in her 100Fly final, while Alicia Thomson also picked up a Bronze in the 200Fly to go with her Relay Silver with the Central team last night.
Meghan Ferris became a double Schools Champion getting Gold in both the 100Bk and 200br, performances that saw her pick up 13/14 Top girl award. 🎊🥳
