Supporting Local Businesses at the Harley Homewood Charity Event!

A huge thank you to all the incredible local businesses joining us on Sunday, 13th September 2026 (12 PM – 5 PMish)!

We are so grateful for your generous support and participation in such a great cause.

Here is a breakdown of the wonderful stalls you'll find on the day:

Gibbos Toybox: Sells all sorts of wonderful toys for kids of all ages—there’ll be something for everyone there!

Pandora's Palette: An expert in vibrant face painting & balloon animals
Millie’s Melts & Glitter Art: Handcrafts her very own beautiful wax melts while also specializing in sparkling glitter art.

Charli’s Cheesecakes: Serving up unbelievably good, homemade delicious cheesecakes in a variety of amazing flavors.

Charm N Treats: Packed with sweet treats for the kids, offering loads of variety plus a little extra on the side with custom charms for everyone!

TOMORROW NIGHT !!

The Reserves host Corby Evs AFC down the Wessy tomorrow night, making it their first ever encounter, with Evs only ever facing our first team when they were known as Siam.

Obviously this is two Corby teams going at it and it’ll all be down to bragging rights at the end of the game- who will come out on top?

TOMORROW NIGHT

Very early top of the table clash tomorrow night with Pegasus hosting us down the Wessy at 6.30PM.

We played Peg Firsts in preseason in a tightly contested game where we came out on the losing side 1-0, but it could of been a very different game if both teams actually converted their chances, with both sides snatching at opportunities.

Full focus on tomorrow, so if you’re free, make your way down to the Wessy and support a local derby 🤝

MOTM’s from yesterday’s games -

First team vs Woodford United -

Ross Simpson, an absolute stone wall performance at the back, 95% of the headed duels won, through balls cut out (except the one when he was doing a fancy flick and ended up scoring an own goal) despite the own goal, he was solid. Our very own Great Wall of China.

Reserve vs Hackleton Harriers -

Edward Hunter, voted for by his teammates, made plenty of unbelievable saves throughout the game and the best one by far is the one straight after our ghost goal that the referee some how didn’t see (probably because he was still in our half when everyone else was in the oppositions box) Edward’s turned into a prime Ronaldinho in nets recently, every game he pulls out a new skill move and rinsing attackers.

💥💥 RESULTS FOR TODAY 💥💥

First team host Woodford United Development - beating them 4-2 with screamers from Ian Hales & Corey Kyle to finish the game off, and a 25 yard header from Leeroy Mutengo.

The reserves travelled over to Grendon to face Hackleton Harriers - didn’t get out of second gear and drew 1-1, should of been 2-1 but the referee sitting at the centre circle didn’t seem to notice the ball hitting the back of the net and the pole holding the net down as we scored the ‘winner’ even Hackleton told the referee it went in but he didn’t want to know.

Midweek madness Man of the Matches!!

First team vs Orchard Park - Ian Hales

Setting new standards this lad on Tuesday night, pressing from the front and making Orchard Park panic, putting them under for the whole 90 minutes, they probably went to bed hoping they didn’t find Halesy tucked up beside them he was that much of a nightmare. Added two goals to his tally aswell, meaning he can do do his own job too aswell as the nitty gritty.

Reserves vs Ise Lodge - Dylan Warner

If I’m honest with, I genuinely think someone or something has possessed Warner, this preseason and the first two games of the season, then the first team game on Tuesday too, he’s been a absolute beast, pretty sure this is his third man of the match consecutively for the reserves, man on a mission recently and currently assisting in the team too with 2 assists in 2 games from Fullback.

RESULT!!

The Reserves took the game to Ise Lodge tonight, winning 3-1.

From the first whistle the reserves looked well up for it, with a good warm up and attitude to set the tone for the game, hungry for their first win and points of the season.

Strong lineup and bench, it was inevitable they’d get a result tonight.

Dylan Warner (the combination Jesus Navas) working his arse off to hound a man for the ball for the first goal after he wins it back swings in a ball and Halesy is on the end of, on a plate.

Second goal came halfway into the second half with the Brooks Brothers and Rio playing some piggy in the middle with the opposition to try and give them some exercise, eventually Rio lays of Leon and he says ‘why not’ and has a pop at goal from 25 yards out, one of the that cuts the grass as it’s flying, bottom bins. Lovely.

The came Ise Lodges 15 minutes of fame, lots of pressure and chances with legs tiring, the clinched a goal back after Teddy made a lot of saves whilst the defence relentlessly kept making last ditch tackles.

90 minutes was up, the sun was setting, luckily we have yellow balls so we could see them or else we wouldn’t of got our third goal, as the referee played a 60 minute second half.

Owen on his debut, pounced at a bad touch from the opposing defender, running through on goal, with Leon beside him for an easy assist for Leon to slot home… think again, Owen tries to round the keeper, to no prevail, but, instead, he then collects the balls, touches it past the keeper, and places it inbetween 2 players to slot home and make it 3-1 in the 90+15 mins.

Win secured. 3 points staying in Corby. Ise Lodge beaten.

2 OUT OF 2!!

Rovers dominate the first half vs Kettering Orchard Park FC and put 3 away before half time with sublime strikes from Ian Hales & James Cassidy then Dylan Griffiths adding the third.

Second half started sloppy giving them a goal to let them in with a chance, but big Halesy put a stop to that with the nail in the coffin fourth goal.
