⭐ End of Year Report – Hatton Seymour ⭐

Hatton is an absolute machine, and his development this year has been incredible to watch. Last season he was known as a strong, reliable defender—but this year he’s taken his game to a whole new level.

His 1v1 ability, passing and shooting have all improved massively, and the move out wide has transformed him into a dangerous, all-round winger. Some of Hatton’s goals this season are ones we’ll remember for a long time—when this kid’s name is on the team sheet, we know we’re in for something special.

Well done, Hatton. Keep developing, keep pushing, and keep shining.

⭐ End of Year Report – Zayn Cairns ⭐

Zayn has been an unbelievable asset to the Vikings this season. He’s pulled off saves you simply wouldn’t expect a kid his age to make—true match-changing moments that kept us on top game after game.

His distribution has been nothing short of phenomenal, launching attacks with pinpoint accuracy. And of course… he’s created his very own signature move in football: “The Zayno”—a goal kick launched the full length of the pitch and straight into the opposition’s net. Not many keepers can say they’ve got a trademark move at his age!

6 clean sheets is impressive enough…
…but Zayn’s gone a level higher by also scoring 6 goals for the Vikings this season. A goalkeeper who can defend AND score? Unreal.

Zayn, you’re a special talent and we are so proud to call you our goalkeeper.
We love you Zayn — the Vikings feel safe when you’re between the sticks. ⚔️🧤🔥

🏆 Kingswood Vikings FC – Final Game of the Year! ⚔️

With a break in the weather, the Vikings finally got back out for their last game of the year against a strong and well-organised Aztec Braves side. Aztec were solid across the pitch—big, strong players and a brilliant keeper who made us work for everything. They didn’t back down and gave us a fantastic game.

For the first and only time this season, the Vikings conceded first, and what a goal it was—a top-bins screamer from an opposition free-kick. The kids regrouped fast, got their shape back, and before long we were back in front where we needed to be.

⚽️ Trials Galore for the Vikings! ⚔️

The Vikings are on fire right now! As our relationship grows stronger with Peterborough United, we’ve seen three more kids having successful sessions, leading to further reviews and—most exciting of all—an invite to St George’s Park, England’s national training ground, for a special event with the club.
The hard work across the whole squad is truly paying off.

🌟 Superstar Shout Out: Ollie 🌟

Ollie has developed tremendously since joining us for training. On Tuesday, he has a Peterborough United pre-academy trial, and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress he has made. We cannot wait to see him perform at our home nations training ground.

We brought some of the squad together and hit the field to support and give him the perfect preparation for such a big opportunity. The work we’ve put into his footwork, technical ability and ball control has paid off—he’s now striking a ball just as cleanly and confidently as the rest of the group.

It’s not easy earning a Vikings shirt… but today, Ollie earned one.

Well done, kid.

🌟 We Wish You Well, Roman 🌟

Today the Vikings sadly say goodbye to Roman.

Roman is an Under 7s player who has been bravely playing up an age group with our Under 8s — and what a shift he has put in. His home team have made a dominant statement in their own age category and now move up together, and we couldn’t be prouder to have been a part of his journey.

Roman has been solid as a rock for us. One of the hardest workers we’ve had, never afraid to throw himself into any challenge against any size or skill of opponent. With Roman, it’s simple…

It’s his ball, not yours — end of story.

In his time with the Vikings, Roman played 5 games and scored 3 goals, showing exactly why he’s such a handful for any defender and such an asset for any team.

We wish you the very best, Roman.
We hope to see you go on to big things with your team — and who knows, maybe our paths will cross again one day. If they do, we’ll make sure we’re prepared for your excellence.

⭐️ End of Year Report — Archie S***k ⭐️

Archie is, without question, the most improved player in the entire squad. The transformation from where he started to where he now stands is nothing short of remarkable — truly worlds apart. His dedication, bravery, and willingness to learn have turned him into one of the most reliable players we have.

Known as “the Brick Wall”, Archie has become the Vikings’ final line of defence. Time and time again he shuts down attacks before they even begin. Even his own teammates get frustrated in training because they simply can’t get past him — and that says everything you need to know about the level he’s reached.

This season, Archie has:

⚽️ Scored 2 goals
🏆 Earned 2 Player of the Match awards

One of those standout awards came against Wolverhampton Wanderers, where we were all delighted to see his name on the team sheet. Against some of the best academy kids around, Archie rose to the challenge and stopped wave after wave of attacks with courage and composure far beyond his years.

Archie should be incredibly proud of the player he is becoming — a leader, a warrior, and one of the toughest defenders around. The Vikings are stronger with him at the heart of the defence. Keep going, Archie — the journey has only just begun! ⚫⚔️⚪

Dylan Martin ⚽️🔥

Dylan’s work rate is second to none. He can cover the entire pitch with ease — sprinting the full length whether it’s defending with heart or bursting forward to attack. A true engine of the team.

He’s capable of producing moments of magic at any time, scoring worldies from all angles and turning games on their head with pure brilliance.

This season Dylan has:

🧤 2 clean sheets
📅 12 games played

Not only that, he earned his place on the team sheet against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Peterborough United, proving he’s ready to perform on the big stages.

A phenomenal talent, a relentless worker, and a huge asset to the Vikings.

Tonight these two showed me grit, competitiveness and heart.
Never mind the treacherous weather — the rain lashing sideways, the wind freezing, or the 20-minute each-way walk. Nothing stopped them from getting 90 minutes of hard graft in.

They pushed each other to the absolute limit, and nights like this will put them steps ahead of their competitors when the going gets tough.

With both securing their places in the Peterborough United Academy this season, their dreams might just come true… and one thing’s certain — I’ll be with them every step of the way.

Across 10 league matches, 2 high level friendlies and a trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers, these two have smashed records.
With the team scoring 103 goals, the duo have contributed 63 goals between them. Both securing 1 player of match each.

After a blistering performance in our last match — including an 8-goal masterclass — Jersie finishes the year as top goal scorer with 33 goals.

I honestly wish I had a best friend like this growing up.
Tonight’s lesson was simple:
Shine together. Iron sharpens iron.
They’re both so competitive, both hate losing — especially to each other — but that’s exactly why they bring the best out in one another.
