Colwyn Bay Mermaids Ladies Touch Rugby We are an inclusive and friendly ladies touch rugby team based in Colwyn Bay, North Wales. Training is from 7-8:30 on Mondays at Colwyn Bay Rugby Club.

We are a part of the North Wales Touch Rugby League and proudly welcome new members!

We did a thing… and we’re pretty bloomin’ proud of it! 🥹💙

Our Fancy Dress Touch Rugby Tournament was a whole lot of fun, a LOT of questionable outfits… and most importantly, it helped us raise a whopping £600 for St David's Hospice in Llandudno! 🎉🙌

Tomorrow afternoon we will be playing against our own Colwyn Bay Dolphins and the Port Talbot Pantheresses in an exciting showdown at the Colwyn Bay Rugby Club!

TOUCH RUGBY IN NORTH WALES

What a season The Mermaids and Touch Rugby in North Wales have had

It has been awesome, electric, inspiring, bonding, so much fun and all of the above again

We have played some amazing games with some equally amazing men and women, enjoyed an Its a Knockout event, a Charity fun day, raised thousands of pounds and a super finale to quite a phenomenal summer season

I have been blown away by the support from everyone involved and a heartfelt thanks to absolutely everyone

The bonding and working togethor of many communities has been immense and you should all be very proud of what youve helped to achieve

Now for the future and a lot of you already missing it all and asking when are we restarting

We go again.

A mixed league will start 26th September ..still a couple spaces free for a 6 person team (3 men 3 ladies minimum)
We start a Veterans friendly league once or twice a month and we recommence a ladies friendly league too

Lets do this and make it an awesome winter season

But more importantly than anything? Everybody who attended today came with a purpose.

To support the amazing St David's Hospice.

To the fantastic Colwyn Bay Rugby Club Veteran's team, the Colwyn Bay Mens Touch Rugby and to the Colwyn Bay Mermaids Ladies Touch Rugby - THANK YOU.
