Our Spring Term focus is CREATING.

Across three hours of structured, high-level training each Sunday, students will develop original work, refine technique, and build the skills that sit at the heart of a world class performing arts education.

Every age group follows a clear pathway that nurtures confidence, creativity, and industry-ready ability.

Spring 2026 begins Sunday 11 January.

Another VERY busy month for us here at The Hammond!

We have a number of very exciting events coming up:

- Hammond Extra Week 7 – Students focus on refining skills and preparing for the final stretch of our Training Term.

- Audition Day – Future students join us for a day of workshops, assessments, and discovery.

- Hammond Extra Week 8 – Classes move into performance readiness and creative polish.

- Anti-Bullying Week – We stand together to promote kindness, inclusion, and respect.

- Remembrance Day – Our whole school gathers to honour and reflect through music and ceremony.

- RAD Exams – Dancers showcase their technique and dedication in their Royal Academy of Dance assessments.

- Degree Experience Day – Aspiring students experience a day of degree-level training and insight.

- MT & Dance Diploma & Acting & Performance Showcase – Our diploma students share their talent, professionalism, and passion on stage.

- Hammond Extra Week 9 – Students perfect their routines and prepare for Open House.

- Hammond Extra Week 10 & Open House – We welcome families and friends to celebrate the end of term and our students’ achievements.

At Hammond Extra, we’re committed to keeping the arts accessible — because talent shouldn’t come with a price tag.

We work closely with families and local dance schools to find real, sustainable ways to keep our world-class training within reach for everyone. We understand the financial realities of raising a young performer, and we believe that passion and potential should never be limited by income.

We strive to create a safe and supportive approach to our teaching in a purpose-built space where aspiring artists can thrive — without the burden of cost.

The arts belong to everyone. And we’re here to make sure they stay that way.

Imagine opening my inbox to find a heartfelt email from a parent, sharing their appreciation after our end-of-term presentation yesterday. Our mission has always been to make the arts accessible to anyone with a passion, providing the training they need for long and successful careers. But before that, our priority is creating a safe, supportive space where young people can learn, grow, express themselves, and develop into the next generation of artists and industry leaders. A huge thank you to our incredible teachers, talented students, and, of course, the parents who support us every single week.What a fantastic way to start the week—you certainly know how to make a Head of Hammond Extra very happy!
