Huge congratulations to the 3 students who were successful in passing their recent gradings - Well done

Jack passed his 4th kyu Orange belt.
Steve passed his 3rd kyu Green belt &
Sam passed his 1st kyu Brown belt .

The final course of 2025 was also very well attended.
It was a great pleasure to award Wesley Hughes his 2nd Kyu Blue Belt - his commitment to Ju- Jitsu shone through “Congratulations”
On the same day we had a rare opportunity to introduce some individual Jo Staff training to all students which everyone seemed to enjoy

The last few weeks at the club have been very rewarding.
Huge congratulations to sensei John Lamont who successfully passed his Nidan 2nd Dan black belt grading in early October and a big thank you to all who attended & supported him on the night.
The grading was overseen by Shihan Russell Jones and senior senseis Simon Garrington & Steve Wiggins.

Chester Ju Jitsu club would like to say a massive thank you to all who attended the grading course on Saturday 23/03/24. We are so proud of all our students as it’s only your hard work, commitment and the support that has enabled the club to grow beyond our expectations,
we would also like to thank the parents who give time to ensure the children are here on time.
As mentioned earlier it was a Grading Course and I have the pleasure in announcing we had an amazing 12 successful students.
4 Green Belts
7 Orange Belts &
1 Yellow Belts.
Not to mention 4 Instructors Gradings
1 Black Belt ( 1st Dan )&
3 Black Belt ( 5th Dan ).

Just had our presentation evening for 2023 and what a night !
We’ve had a year of success after success with several students reaching levels of yellow , orange & blue belt status, Also only a few weeks ago we proudly announced a new black into the Kai and if that wasn’t enough only last week we had a shodan successfully pass his Nidan grading which he passed with flying colours , however the icing on the cake for our club was the presentation of a 7th Dan award ( Shichidan ) to Kioshi Russell Jones
