As I celebrate another year of life, I am reflecting on how lucky I am to have Dance Movers as my job 😀

I love going out to my classes and seeing my Dance Movers each week, having a dance, getting moving and having a natter 💃🏼

It is lovely to have a great friend, Nikki, to share this Dance Movers journey with.

Ladies, I have some exciting ideas bubbling away in my head and I am looking forward to exploring them in the year ahead!

It would have been my brothers birthday today at 77 years young …sadly he passed away peacefully in his sleep on the 12th of Aug 2026 … after 10 years living at Lavender Villa care home in hoole .
His funeral took place yesterday a very moving beautiful service . JC.Clark took care of him taking him on his last journey to the Crematorium in Blacon , passing by his favourite cake shop .. Chatwins in hoole and passing over the bridge where he used to have his business JER Domestic appliances in lower brook street near the station ..
Once there he was carried in by my sons Adam Tudor Kieran Tudor and
Owain Tudor … the beautiful flowers created by Emma Tudor my daughter in law
Claire Vicars …. celebrant , led the service she spoke of John with such empathy and kindness , there were tears and laughter and the photographic tribute was a joy to watch … bringing back many Happy memories …
May you rest in peace now my brother
and be free ❤️

Back to School and back to classes, there is a lot to be said for a routine! 😅

It's been great catching up with our lovely Dance Movers and welcoming some new faces across the classes 😀

Looking forward to starting a new Dance Movers class in Hartford this Wednesday; 7-8pm at The Grange School Pavilion, there has been a lot of interest which is very exciting! 💃

See you later Tarporley Cha Cha Movers; 7-8pm at Tarporley Community Centre, some great tunes lined up!

The wait is over… our new term of Dance Movers starts this week and Nikki & I are raring to go! 🎶❤️

Congratulations to my Mum on her Lifetime Achievement Award for Classical Sequence at the Le Classique de Danse Awards, presented at the fabulous Blackpool Winter Gardens 💃🏼👏🙌

My Mum really has devoted most of her life to dance from helping my Granny with The Killip School of Dance to taking it over and still running it to this day!
Her dedication to her pupils is admirable and she has worked hard to raise the profile of Isle of Man sequence dancing, where they now contend with the best in the UK 🙌

Happy Friday! After posting a photo of my Granny, I was asked if I had any old photos of me dancing and I promised to have a look when I was back at my parents. Well I think I need to ask my Mum to have a dig around, for now this is a photo from my University dance days, they were so much fun!!

I loved this ballroom dress, my favourite colour, the sequins, the feathers 🥰 David and I really enjoyed dancing our ballroom dances, from the elegant Waltz to the energetic Quickstep, our team dance, 'flying' around the dance floor! 😆

💃✨ A HUGE THANK YOU TO ALL OUR LOVELY DANCE MOVERS! ✨💃 What a fantastic term it has been! ❤️ It's been over a week since our classes so you will definitely be missing those Volta's by now!!

We just wanted to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to every single one of you who has danced, laughed, smiled and shared so many lovely moments with us this term.

From learning new routines to making new friends, you’ve all brought such amazing energy to every class. 🥰

It’s wonderful to see our Dance Movers community continuing to grow, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you who comes along and makes the classes what they are.
