It's the final countdown!

On September 13th, the Blazing Saddles Challenge will be done and dusted for 2026, and what a challenge it has been!

So far 332 routes have been ridden. This equates to 49,500km roadbook navigated so far, since 1st June !

Top of the routes completed list is Barry Manning (11 routes), Paul Evans (10 routes) and Jeff Dack (9 routes).

We now have 11 riders who qualify for the Dust Devil Hoodie and 28 riders for “Mission Accomplished” t-shirts.

Well done Guys and Gals, fantastic effort!

But it's not over yet! The 20 riders with the best scores for the Challenge get to compete in a special “Rally Off” event to decide the Supreme Dust Devil for 2026 and lift the trophy.

Stunning scenery, big smiles, sunny skies and terrific trails... that's what Adventure Rallying in Portugal means to us!

It looks like the 2027 Tour of Portugal is already at capacity which is super exciting. The other exciting news is that we'll be returning to the incredible Estrela mountains again this November, for a different kind of Adventure Rally...

The Estrela Adventure Rally Tour offers riders all the thrills of multi-day, roadbook rally, but with more.

The navigation journey starts from the ferry port in Santander and from there riders will navigate from hotel to hotel, winding their ways through the dirt tracks and backroads less ridden, down into the mountains of central Portugal. This is a fully supported tour, so no need to carry your own luggage and spares. The hotels are handpicked and tested by our trusty recce team, with breakfast and dinner included.

The terrain? Gravel roads, big-bike friendly dirt tracks, with tarmac twisties in between.

The dates? November 13 – 18, 2026

Only a couple of weeks left of the Blazing Saddles Challenge!

The digital roadbook challenge of 11 routes across the UK has been running all summer long, but now we are approaching crunch time... who will be the top scoring riders to take part in the final 'Rally-Off' on Salisbury Plain?

Who will earn a tshirt and who will earn a 'Dust Devil' hoodie?

The kms are racking up and every week, more and more routes are being ridden. Well done to everyone who's taken part so far!

We had another cracking weekend in the Kielder Forest. The Kielder Adventure Riding Experience returned for 2026, with two days of guided adventure rides and roadbook training in one of the greatest adventure riding areas in the UK. With hundreds of kms of hard packed forestry tracks and trails and far reaching views of the forest, this is the perfect area for practising navigation, self sufficiency and experiencing what it might be like to ride a cross country rally in remote wilderness.

It's always a pleasure to return to Kielder, and thankfully, it won't be too long until we are back there again for the Dark Skies Rally in October!

🤔 Did you know that there is a paved-road-only, roadbook rally event going on right now, with eleven different routes to ride around the country? 🏍️

🤔 Did you know that you need zero roadbook navigation experience to take part?

🏁 The Cannonball Road Rally Challenge has been running since the start of July and finishes at the end of September. It consists of eleven roadbook routes, dotted around the country, each one of them circular and starting/finishing at a moto-friendly cafe. ☕

Being tarmac-only, taking part in this roadbook challenge requires zero off-road skills, so you can simply focus on the navigation and the road ahead.

Being an App-based event, all you need is an android tablet or smartphone to take part.

If you're a total roadbooking novice, the training resources on our website are enough to get you up to speed.

Ride as many or as few routes as you wish, whenever you like and with whoever you choose!

So good to get together with fellow rally, roadbook and adventure riding enthusiasts at Motorrad Konnection's open day last weekend. It was a vibe!

We had a couple of roadbook routes on offer, plus there were Kove bikes for riders to demo, rally machines on display and a whole load of great people to catch up with.

Thanks to all who rode one of our routes, and congratulations to the low scorers of the day Jordan (2 points) and Liam (3 points). No Zero Heroes today mind you!

After an awesome weekend at Motorrad Konnection running an Adventure Rally Raid, John, Jeff and Burt decided to join the fun and take a day out to ride the North Yorks Blazing Saddles Route.

We had an absolute blast! It's such a great place to ride. Full video on the tube ;)

We are now in the final month of the Blazing Saddles Challenge and we're excited to see how many 'Dust Devils' there will be in 2026!

Entries for the 2026 Zero Hero Challenge in Wales will be open this weekend, and if you want to be the first to know, head to the website and register your interest.

What is it? A two-day roadbook navigation challenge.

When? November 7 & 8, 2026

Where? Based out of Llandovery, with the tracks taking you through multiple forestry areas in mid Wales.

Who is it for? Any adventure rider who wants to test their endurance, both mentally and physically. (Must be a member of RallyMoto).

We are incredibly pleased to be welcomed back into Welsh forestry again in 2026, and we owe this to the fantastic RallyMoto members who rode last years Zero Hero Challenge. Together we proved that we could ride respectfully, adhere to speed zones in sensitive areas, and be considerate of the locals.

So, for 2026 we’ll be returning to Llandovery Rugby Club on the 7th and 8th of November for an epic, two-day, big-bike friendly Adventure Rally.

The goal? Score as few points as possible. Ideally ZERO!
There are no classes and no timed stages. This is all about navigating accurately. This is an event for Adventure Bikes, not enduros.

Expect big distances, mega scenery, and the sense of real wilderness.

This is a test of rider endurance, both mentally and physically, rather than speed.

This is how we can continue to enjoy riding in Welsh Forestry for many years to come.
