Patesians Legacy Club Keep updated with how we dramatically improve The Patesians Sport and Social Club facilities

The Patesians Legacy Club is an affiliated club of the Patesians Sports and Social Club (PSSC)

It was set up in Jan 2023 by a group of ten like-minded, well-established PSSC members, to manage a dramatic and ambitious programme of improvement to the facilities of the Patesians clubhouse and grounds. The ten strong committee comprises a wealth of experienced professionals with expertise in many fi

elds and vast experience of managing projects. We have over 400 years of commitment to the Patesians Club between us and want to see it develop into an outstanding sporting and community resource. For years, the facilities at the Everest Road site have been maintained and managed well, but not developed in keeping with modern day standards and sporting requirements. The club is also in the heart of a vibrant community and should be a place where individual and families can socialise and enjoy food, drink and entertainment under the amazing, picturesque setting of Leckhampton Hill. If you have read this far then thank you for your patience and interest. We do need your help in a very small way:

We welcome new members and would like to invite you to join us on our journey. For just £20 membership fee you will have access and invites to all Legacy Club events (on the Launch Day we have a free drink and food for all members), we will enter you automatically into the quarterly prize draws and also keep you up to date with how the projects are developing.

That’s absolutely fine! 💙

Your child doesn’t need to know the rules.
They don’t need to be sporty.
They don’t need to be confident.
And they definitely don’t need to have played rugby before.

At Tag Trojans, children learn through fun, games and plenty of running around - building skills and confidence as they go.

Some children jump straight in.
Some take a little while to settle.
Some spend the first session watching before they’re ready to join in.

They’re all welcome. 🏉

A couple of big social TV fixtures this week!!
FIFA World Cup is in full swing, but England Football get their first taste tonight at 9pm against the mighty Croatia football

Then this Saturday, the PREM Rugby final sees Northampton Saints take on Exeter Chiefs Official at 3pm live from Allianz Stadium

Get some friends together and come and watch all the excitment live!

And don't forget Friday Night at Pats!!!

“The main reason I would say to join pats is the family environment we have created. At this club everyone is welcomed with open arms all ages and ability.

We have a brilliant coaching setup with Ex Player Chris Raymond as Head Coach. Harry Elrington ex Gloucester Player as our forwards coach. Doug Simpson Ex player as our backs coach. These amazing coaches have been helping us come away some big results last year and setting the foundations for a new challenge this season.

We are planning on having a massive year, competing at all angles from the league to the national cup and combi cup. This is for the whole club not just the 1XV’s”

Our Summer Term is now available to book online, and we can’t wait for more Sunday mornings filled with tag rugby fun 🏉💙

We’re also excited to confirm we’ll be at Pats Fest with a FREE Tag Trojans fun session at 1pm 🎉

Nice busy week again.

As we approach the end of the rugby season, we're happy to see the culmination of a really strong season across Old Patesians RFC finishing off with a clash against Dursley RFC

Preceded by our U13s hosting a touring squad from Wi******er RFC

And a big supporter's lunch beforehand to lubricate the crowd!!!
