===================================
After 16 fantastic years on the PSA World Tour, I have decided the time is right for me to retire from professional squash. It has been an immense honour and privilege to represent Gloucestershire and England around the world, and a journey I will cherish forever. I have met so many incredible people through squash, travelled the world, and been given opportunities I could never have imagined.
I have gotten far more out of this game than I could ever hope to give back — though I will certainly try. The impact squash has had on my life is a constant reminder that anything truly is possible.
Over the past few weeks I have been sharing this news with the people who have meant so much to me throughout my career. Those conversations have been wonderful and deeply heartwarming. So many of you remain dear friends to this day, and I have loved reliving the memories we shared together. The highlight of my career was representing England — something I wasn’t sure I’d ever get to do, but something I will remember for the rest of my life.
To Haley — thank you for sharing every adventure with me, and here’s to many more ahead. I wouldn’t have achieved half of what I did without your unwavering support, your encouragement, and your patience with my endless crazy ideas and relentless pursuit to improve. Thank god you like a British accent! The greatest prize is getting to spend more time with you and Logan, and for us to build the next chapter of our lives together.
To my family — thank you for backing me wholeheartedly. For allowing me to chase something I fell deeply in love with, in a world you didn’t know existed, and for driving me up and down the country to squash clubs far and wide without a single complaint. I hope I made you proud.
