New Head Coach Announcement – 2026/27 Season
We are delighted to announce that Sam Smith will be joining us as Head Coach for the 2026/27 season.
Sam brings a wealth of playing experience to the role, having represented London Scottish, Worcester Warriors and England Under 20s during an impressive rugby career. His knowledge of the game, passion for player development and competitive mindset make him an exciting appointment for the club as we look ahead to the next chapter.
As we welcome Sam, we would also like to give our genuine thanks to outgoing Head Coach, Swifty, for his outstanding dedication, commitment and leadership over the past three seasons.
During his tenure, the club has enjoyed some memorable successes, including winning the league title last season and lifting the Plate Cup Final this season. Beyond the silverware, Swifty leaves the role having helped build a strong, competitive squad and a culture that will provide a solid foundation for the future.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Swifty for everything he has contributed and wish him all the very best for the future.
