SUNDAY IS TOURNAMENT DAY

On Sunday 18th January Wyre Forest Hockey will be welcoming under 8 and under 10 teams from clubs across the county to play in our first ever mini tournament.

Since we launched just one year ago, our academy has grown and grown and we now have over twenty children regularly attending our Saturday morning training sessions and will be fielding two teams of U8 and two teams of U10 players on Sunday.

Many thanks to all our coaches, organisers, supporters. players and their carers and a warm welcome to our opponents. We hope you have the best time on Sunday enjoying the hockey, and feeling the positivity. And make sure you buy a hot drink and a home made brownie on sale in support of club funds.

JUNIOR HOCKEY COACHING RE-STARTS SATURDAY 10TH JANUARY.
We hope you had a brilliant Christmas and New Year break. We're excited to welcome you all back on Saturday 10th January 9am to 10am at Winterfold School. And don't forget our next tournament which takes place on Sunday18th January at Winterfold School. Everyone is welcome to play.
If you aren't already a member of our what's app group, please let me know by sending a message to 07836 230229. We use the group to let members know if training is cancelled (due to bad weather) and to invite you to play in tournaments.

JUNIOR HOCKEY COACHING 6 -16 ALL WELCOME
Would your children like to try a new sport? Or do they already play hockey and would like to develop their skills and play in tournaments? Our weekly junior coaching sessions start on Saturday 13th September (9 till 10am) and everyone is welcome. No previous experience is needed. Just turn up and give it a go. (We can even lend you a stick.) The focus is on fun, team work and personal improvement.
This year, we will be entering age group tournaments. In addition to the outstanding training we offer, children will now be able to play against other clubs.
Your first session is free and thereafter, we operate "pay as you go' pricing. Sessions cost just £5 for the first child and £3 for additional.
We offer afriendly, enthusiastic, welcoming and safe environment. Why not give it a try?
