Donny update.

Unfortunately, what looked like a very promising weekend came to a very quick end.

In quali, I got a decent lap in, was hoping to get a tow off Aaron Silvester after I showed him round, until he went to play in the kitty litter 😂

Race 1 was an ideal start, leading the pack until I ran a kerb on the outside of old hairpin battling with Luke MacRae (putting up a good fight, shame it couldn't continue). Ran the kerb all morning. I'm still not sure what happened, but before I knew it, I'd been slammed into the ground, and that was me out before I had a chance.

Still no exact diagnosis, but i've got a fair amount of pain in my right shoulder, no broken bones, so docs suspect either muscular or acj damage.

Im so sorry to all my supporters and sponsors. What should've been a dream weekend crumbled so quickly.

But we move, I'll be back for cadwell, and the results will come.

Finally got the bike running right thanks to the ever so knowledgeable and talented Mark Leaning and its felt like a dream all weekend. Especially after the nightmare I've had in previous rounds.

RESULTS
QUALI P2 overall | P1 in class 🥇
RACE 1 P3 overall | P1 in class 🥇
RACE 2 P2 overall | P1 in class 🥇
RACE 3 P2 overall | P1 in class 🥇PB 2:11.224
RACE 4 P2 overall | P1 in class 🥇

Absolute clean sweep in class and second to Aaron Silvester in all but one race in the overall results. (Dont know what Aaron was sniffing this weekend, but I want some 😂)

Party in the park CB edition 🥈🥈🥇🥇

Race 1: 4th - 2nd in class
Race 2: 5th - 2nd in class
Race 3: 5th - 1st in class
Race 4: 3rd - 1st in class

Results wise, a great weekend! More track time, getting back into the groove again and just having an endless amount of fun.

I really wish a speedy recovery to the riders involved in the start line incident this weekend. And of course, a massive thank you and well done to the bemsee crew, medics, and marshalls for keeping us safe and jumping into action when needed.

Certainly a weekend to remember!

It wasn't exactly a weekend of amazing results, but im happy nonetheless. I managed to really enjoy my racing again!

It was a great weekend bringing myself back to the reason I love it so much. I couldn't be happier to have also pulled a P2 in class out of the last race of the weekend.

Now to the nitty gritty:

First race weekend of the year!

To put it simply, what a crap weekend. But still plenty positives!

No result from quali or race 1.
Weird bike issues, but couldn't thank everyone enough for helping me get through it and get going again.

Race 2: P35 -> P12

Great fun running through the field, picking off 20 places in one lap, but still struggling to get the pace going.

Race 3: P9

Same again, fun race, chasing others, but still struggling to get the bike working for me.

Race 4: DNF - more bike issues.

It's taken a lot of effort to get to this meeting and a hell of a lot of support from family, friends and sponsers. I'm disappointed that my results didn't match my effort, but we move! I have some more track time planned and look forward to the next weekend.

I've put in as much effort as I can to make sure I get back out on the bike this year for some races. I couldn't be happier to say that I will be racing at Oulton park on the 3rd-4th of April with
