Most people know me through Petals Training, but there is another side to what I do. I own JustB Therapies.

For nearly 25 years, I have been running my own clinical therapy business, helping people return to improved health through targeted therapies.

My background includes working as an NHS therapist, running private health clinics through BUPA (now Spire), West End Therapist and spending over 20 years working inside companies as both their therapist and trainer.

Over the years, that has included supporting people through cancer care, grief and loss, chronic illness, and the many challenges that come with simply trying to keep going when life feels heavy.

But here is what most people don't know. It was a patient at my BUPA clinic who first asked me to teach.

That one conversation changed everything. Supervising therapists had already lit something in me, but that moment made me realise teaching was where I was meant to be. I went on to complete my PGCE and a Degree in Education, and Petals Training was born.

At first glance, therapy and teaching seem like very different worlds, and in some ways they are. But the people I meet in both often carry the same things and feel stuck. Overwhelmed. Like they are falling behind or not quite enough.

That is why Petals has never just been about delivering courses. It is about meeting people where they are. Every single time.

Whether you come to me for therapy or training, you will always be met with care, not judgment.

There’s something about a beautiful hotel that unlocks my best work ✍️✨

And this place is no exception. I love sitting in old places writing my materials. The walls hold so much energy it genuinely invigorates me.

I’m spending the next two days guiding our learners through their micro-teach sessions which is one of my favourite parts of the entire course.

Watching each person step into their own magic in the training room never gets old.

For 13 years, teaching people how to teach has been my greatest passion.

And this week, my learners move one step closer to achieving their Level 3 Education and Training Award.
