70% of motorsport personnel report burnout symptoms and most organisations treat that as a wellbeing problem.

But it isn’t just a wellbeing issue, it is actually a really serious safety issue.

When people are burnt out, their risk awareness drops, their behaviour becomes harder to predict, their decision-making changes and in a high-risk environment, that's exactly when incidents happen.

Carla made this case at the Make 2026 Your Safest Year roundtable earlier in the year, and connected it to the broader picture of why traditional safety training keeps failing even when everything else looks right on paper.

If you're in motorsport operations, team management, or work around high-risk environments, the full recording is worth your time.

Even with strong systems and policies, organisations still struggle with one critical factor: people. In this session, part of "Make 2026 Your Safest year Yet...

There's risk management training. And then there's risk management training that actually makes sense when you're standing in a paddock at 7am on a race morning.

We're in print. 🗞️

Motorsport News covered the Girls on Track programme we led at Wattisham Flying Station last week and seeing it land in an actual magazine feels like a moment worth sharing.

The article covers the two-day programme with Motorsport UKMotorsport UK where more than 150 girls from local schools spent time doing drone flying, pit stop challenges, aircraft tours, aviation marshalling, coding and STEM sessions with partners including Red Bull Racing STEMx, Saxon Air and the British Army.

📰 The print edition should still be on the shelves today, so if you want a physical copy you can find your nearest stockist at the link below. There's also a digital edition if you'd rather read it online.

Eve Lake-Grange, Championship Manager for British F4, summed it up well when asked what made Safety Rocks the right fit:

"The championship was impressed by Safety Rocks' energy and drive to improve health and safety outside of the inner track."

That phrase, outside of the inner track, is exactly where we focus. The safety decisions that matter most in motorsport aren't always the visible ones. They happen in the planning, the briefings, the risk assessments that take place long before race day.

Since 2025, we've been working with British F4 on a strategic partnership aimed at improving access to tailored safety training and raising standards across the sport. We're proud of what that collaboration stands for.

If you're involved in motorsport at any level, we'd love to hear what health and safety looks like in your world.
