Just for your information…Unfortunately we don’t have sole use of the leisure centre complex on Sunday for the triathlon.

As such, we are unable to offer participant parking on site at the leisure centre.

Therefore we would ask all athletes to park safely in the surrounding side streets (keep it legal) be considerate of residents and building premises and access and kerbs

If you’ve raced with us before this process of street parking has worked well. We appreciate this may add a little challenge to your day but honestly we are confident you can navigate this successfully

🚵🏻‍♂️Post-Race Transition– Bike Collection

Once the event has finished, Transition will be very busy, so please be patient with our crew members.

For security, we need to ensure that every athlete leaves with the correct bike.

Before exiting Transition, you will be asked to:
🔢 Show your race number (The big number on your race belt)
🚲 Ensure it matches the number on your bike

This quick check helps keep everyone’s equipment safe.

Thank you for your patience and support — we’ll get you through as quickly as possible!

We have a number of athletes taking part in their first triathlon this weekend — welcome! 👋

If you’re unsure how to rack your bike in Transition just follow this simple guidance:

🔢 Bike number facing you
🚲 Handlebars facing you (see the attached pics)

Setting up this way keeps transition organised, safe, and fair for everyone.

Our team will be on hand to help, so don’t worry if you’re unsure — just ask!

🚴‍♂️ Pre-Race Transition Check – Please Read

Before you are allowed access to T1 (Transition), a quick safety check will take place with one of our crew.

You will be asked to:✅ Ensure your helmet is fastened securely✅ Apply your brakes✅ Confirm you are happy with your bike’s braking function

This is a simple and essential procedure in line with our requirements.

👉 Please arrive prepared so this process can be completed quickly and smoothly for everyone.
