Caistor Tennyson Tigers u7s had a brilliant match away to Broughton Ravers u7s.
It was a free flowing game with lots of shots, saves and goals. Caistor goals were scored by Rory three goals, Jesse one goal & Theo one goal.
Really pleased as a scout ( Leeds Utd) came to watch another age group and players but ended up watching the u7s match as he said the u7s was playing good passing football. And he also liked two of the Caistor players. Massive well done to the two players so pleased for them both. Proud moment as a coach and I know it will be for their parents that they are getting recognized.
Players of the match was Louis who made some brilliant saves. And Jaxon who stepped into the defence and has his best game of the season with his passing from defence setting up loads of good attacks for the Tigers.
So pleased the players are taking what they are learning in training into matches. Well done Tennyson Tigers u7s

ROAR-SOME PERFORMANCE FOR THE TIGERS! 🐯
What a game! Our Caistor Tennyson Tigers U8s pulled off an incredible game against a very strong well drilled Bottesford team in a 40-minute box-to-box thriller! ⚽️🔥
The kids played some "cracking" football today:
Isaac stunned everyone with a sensational long-range goal from across the pitch! 🎯🚀
Ezra finished off a brilliant team move with a clinical, well-played goal! 👏🥅
And defender Teddy turning into a goal-scoring machine! He netted two goals in just 30 seconds! 🦁💥
Huge effort from the whole squad today—the determination was next level. 🐯⚽️💪

Tennyson Tigers u7s travelled to Crowle for this weekend match.
I don't think the score today reflected the match. Very slow start conceding two goals. Then we more than matched Crowle. Their goalkeeper made some brilliant saves and on another day the chances the young Tigers created would have gone in. The Tigers goal was scored by Rory two goals & Theo one goal. Lots of positives again. More passing. Especially from defence to attack. Been more physical and putting in some crunching old school challenges.
Really pleased how the squad, team and players are developing.
And not football related. One thing that put a smile on my face was the three subs who had set up their own match on the side of the pitch. One goalkeeper two outfield players two cones as a goal and a football. The three subs enjoying their own little game.
Team spirit is everything.

Saturday 31st January Caistor Tennyson Tigers u7s got back to playing league matches. It was an exciting match with lots of goals. The Tigers goal scores were Rory 6 goals, Theo 3 goals and Marcos 1 goal.
The last few weeks at training the u7s have been learning to hold their positions on the pitch and passing to team mates. And in the match their hard work paid off with a great team performance. The assistant coach player of the match was Jesse for his passing from defence and coaches player of the match was Marcos for his energy up and down the wing and being in the right place to score his first goal.

Caistor Tennyson Tigers football club has their annual Christmas football match. This year we was raising money for Harry Spencer so he can run the London Marathon for the Teenage Cancer Trust Charity. A big thank you to all who donated for the raffle, Dan Smith for doing the karaoke and the Sports & Social Club for hosting. And of course all the players who put on the famous Caistor football shirt and took part in the match. On the day raised £604 for the Teenage Cancer Trust Charity. Thank you to the Caistor community for supporting the charity and the day.

On a cold wet morning Caistor Tennyson Tigers u7s put in their best performance of the season against a strong Bottesford team.
Lots and lots of goals from both teams with Maison 3, Jesse 3, Theo 1 and Freddie 1 scoring for the Tigers. All 8 players contributed to a brilliant match. Special shout out to Louis who was outstanding in goal in very tough conditions for goalkeepers. Players of the match were Marco & Frankie for their energy in the wide positions with both getting back to help the defense then sprinting forward to set up attacks.
Well done Tennyson Tigers u7s.
And well done to Drew. It was Drew's first match as referee and he was excellent.
